IDK wo's idea is to put an M rated character in a kids game, and the kids cant play his game "Metal Gear Solid". I think tht was fucking awsome. I play as Solid Snake every time wen i play this.

@billruller YES! It was quite an awesome surprise indeed! It was the idea of Snake's creator, Hideo Kojima.

It turns out, he even wanted Snake to be Super Smash Bros Melee on the GameCube; there just wasn't enough time to add him in before the game's release.

But Metal Gear Solid was re-made for GC. It's called "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes"
