@wengen2007 Thank you Martin! Yes I was going to publish individual prints of the girl's paintings, but realized a poster with all of them shown together would be better...OTMA is a sum greater than the parts, and the parts are pretty great too lol! Thanks again :)
@IamHelenKeller .Thank you , Helen! I've been painting them nearly two years. That last one took many months! I love having them all together in one room. It's fun to have gallery space in one's home. It creates a lovely quite place. It's our former TV room. A good trade in I'd say. Yes,a " Nicky & Alex " paintings in the future! Trust you to say that, as you are always ahead of the curve. lol! I certainly will do one some day, but just when I can't say as yet . Thanks again! :)
@blessOTMA Hi, very nice vids!! I favor the pictures of Olga and Tatiana in their dress for the Russian Red Cross. I am a nurse and would like to know if they received any type of "formal training".
@ddivincenzo1 Thank you! Yes, they did train. At the start of WW1, the girls and thier mother, Empress Alexandra , went though the then usual, three months of classes to earn the right to wear the cross. The Tsar's 2nd daughter, Tatiana, ( the one standing in the photo ) became an excellent nurse .Thank you for your own service to others !
Beautiful! I'm studying Russian History from 1855 - 1970 a lot is taught about their mistakes and delusions but little is taught on their personalities, their character and their bonds. I love all of the pictures! paticularly the one at 3:20, i also loved the song in this video! very well done!
@frostycold111 Thank you frosty! That's funny because one would think thier personalities, played a part in thier actions....but such a sweep of history must call for learning what happened more than why,,,, just for the sake of time ! lol!. So glad you like the work! Thank you as always for your great comments and support!
And you give them back their faces (and dresses) so well! To see your art at its earlier stages, as you show this time, to the completed work, is amazing. Another brilliant video where your paintings are wonderfully complimented by the music. Perhaps I should revisit Dr Who? ...It seems it might have come a long way since I last watched it 25 years ago... but what's 25 years to us Time Lords? All Romanov pictures are as current to me now as when they were taken. Like they never really died :)
@MessengerMagi Thanks you! Yes! It's often a shock to see them in antique cars! lol! Particularly since in their later photos their clothes are quite modern looking . Also thier frank expressions in their private photos leap over time with ease. In each of the paintings individual video, I take time over the transformation of colour masses to face to show how it was done. Here I show it quickly to give the sense it's happening before our eyes...as indeed it is! Thank you again !
Beautiful and very talented works. Congratulations, dear Anne!

Hi Anne,
You've created a nice collection of Romanov paintings over the past year....
or year and 1/2.
Very interesting to watch the transformation of the paintings.
It's great that you have a room to display them in.
Looking forward to your "Nicky and Alex " paintings in the future!
