  • I want you to tattoo me!!!! I always tattoo everyone else so I never get any ink of my own...... :O) You do good work and thankx for puttin you're stuff out there to see. I hate that most people think that because not everyone learns in a shop that it makes them a lesser artist...... I did mine in a shop to start for about 6months and to be honest I learned way more after I left. Thankx for puttin a lil <3 in the world for us scratchers out there...... oxoxox

  • ctfu somebody got a stick of butter

  • Some of the worst ink ive ever seen. No wonder you cant get a job in a studio. i wouldnt let you touch me if i had a limb i was throwing away.. thanks for the laugh though, the mrs is in stitches at your work.

  • @mrdrftr lo...ur a joke...lemme see ur work?.....and again this was when ifirst started...lik most is less than 3 months..lol....and dont knwo what u mean by stiches ..must be a gay comment

  • @fattasticvoyage Must be a gay comment? what are you a fucking retard? and Stitches means laugh you illiterate douche

  • @mrdrftr Yep Im retarted cant you tell? You must be a retard too.....stitches means laughing so when you run into me on the street and you get split open we will both be in stitches...lol...yours will just hrut more than mine.your a sad excuse for an artist if you are one,and even a sadder excuse for a human being if you ask me.Cant just just be happy with anything or just keep your mouth shut, cuz you damn sure cant back your claims up...and if my work was that bad I would havent 4 covers by now

  • @fattasticvoyage okay man, safe behind the internet, its been a month now, get over yourself, if you have to protect your work and yourself that much, you need to get your shit sorted. Im not afraid of you, i never will be, so dont threaten me from behind your computer, if you ever make enough money and go overseas, look me up, then see how far you get bruv.

  • @mrdrftr lol...Exactly what I thought would eb said, you didnt understand what what said first, then again make an asumption I would wanna waste my time tracking down some loser to do what beat you up?I have better things to do and I am sure people whoop ur ass all the time enough. But if you wanna prove me wrongi jsut merely wannasee your portfolio begininning to end, thats it your jsut too stoooopppid to understand what I said...lol

  • Yo Can You Do A in depth Video ON Grey Wash Shading

  • I started tattoing 12 years ago and from one scratcher to another, good work man!

  • ur prettty dope, i have a question what happens if you use a shading needle for an outline? will it work?..and what type of needle do you do fill ins with like solid fill ins

  • @ricky20000

I used a 7rs for a Wisconsin outline. I did not have any larger than 5rl for liners. It worked fine.

  • when will we see some more advanced tattoo training videos from you , i found the previous videos helpful. thanks matt splatt

  • Good stuff, What brand inks are you using? Is there a specific brand that works best?

  • Nice stuff bro!!

  • realllyy god tha` work piece...good work dude...keep`it that way...you have any web site to invite me?;-) respect

  • bbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Jimmi H. told me to tall you what'sup and too remember we'r all part of tist art from

  • let's take it to 2 a new leval

  • lov i shit

  • wicked keep the goodick

  • you should not be tattooing anyone's skin. these are horrible.

  • thanks thats a really good advised i really apresiate that. i have try to use the stacked mags before but they seem to just shred the skin up but i ma try on ma self and see what probably i could adjust because i migth need more gap between the contact spring and the contac point am very glad that a real artist dont think he is somuch to share alittle knoledge but thanks for that advise by tha way my inks are all kuru zumi or intenze i came to love them because they are very dence on the color

  • hey wuz up man i got to ask u a question i been tattooing for the past five years my tattoos well people like them and i get mad people coming in but ma question is on black work like tribals why is it that some times i get like white spots like ink was not been pushed in is it because the speed or the needle am using also i only shade with rounds is that wrong because i would like to be more impresed on what i do is there a diference between lining and shading ink for straigt black work

  • its all about what works for you,but for the best tribal work i have found a stacked or weaved mag works best for easier color and faster time.PLus the mag will let you do real real sharp edges where a round will not.But sound to me your overworking the skin.If the ink went in at the beggining it should have stayed in.The only way it comes out is either the client picking at it or you scarred the person.Never go over the same spot more than three times, unless you have a very slow colorer.

  • I use my lining ink for tribal, but there are darker tones of black made for towards tribal, thees work well and are usually a little more thick.Tribal or solid color is better done withaa slow color machine,as it wont tear up skin. There should be very little blood as well. Some is ok but not much.Plus using a mag will also improve your shading.I only use round shader for doing linesor buliding lines up,and rarely, very rarely is it actually used to shade or color.Buy some mags, and a goo black ink.

  • @fattasticvoyage so can mags be used to colour pitch black tribals and what size would you use regards your work is shit hot i love it

  • Hey man im just starting out with my order. I have no idea which size needles to get. What size is most commonly used? what sizes should i order? Thanks!

  • Well there is no right or wrong.needle chioceis by tattoo,so you will not know what you are going to tattoo. You choose the needle by the biggest needle you can use for the job.You wouldnt want to paint a wall with a toothpick.Starting out i would buy 5rl,9rl,7m1,13m1, this is a good start maybe some round shaders.Stay away from flats and stacked mags,as they will eat up skin if not used right.I use a RS for lines, rarely do i use them for shades or color.

  • @fattasticvoyage ok man thanks, I think i am going to order a few different needled and see what they do. Take Care

  • I'd like your videos. I also want to start tattoo bot I think I need to find some tattoo artist who learn me how to tattoo before I start to do a tattoos on my friends. I think that you can't learn how to tattoo online...

  • nothing could probably teach you more than a good apprenticeship form a good artist.....but some of the best learnt by themselves with a little help here and there...its all about the passion you have for it...if you really try at it and never look bak you can do anything

  • continued...basically man any tips u can give me wud b great man, like good equipment, and inks, where i might be going wrong anything will help man. thanks

  • really, there int really a right/wrong equipment or ink...anything an work from piss and ash with a needle and thread to the best made colors and the best machines....some of the best work done has been in prison......

  • besides that here are some good choices.....

machines-us tattoo supply (cheap and decent) aaron cain (good and expensive) junebug(very good mid price...ebay)

power supplies--eikon(ems 200,250,300) critical tattoo huck spaulding

    needles-mithra tattoo(good quality good selection)

this is some info and will do more but due note some of these things you might not be able to buy not being a pro

  • dont buy off ebay as you dont know what yuor getting..buy from online supplier or local

black/shading ink--kuro sumi, pelikan, silverback or any other of the brands below

    color inks--intenze,eternal,starbrite,fusion,classic

  • yo man theres sum good work there, ive been tattooin for like 2 months and at first my lining dont seem to bad for a beginner. that is until it starts to heal and about 5 days later the ink starts to flake away, i watched ur vids on how to setup machines and it helped alot but still the ink flakes away. i got chinese machines and azayaka ink and of course i kno nw that chinese machines are shit and so is azayaka ink! cud u point me in the right direction man coz kno1 will apprentice me

  • hey whats good my dude, im only 4 mths into it myself, what do you use for a liner as far as needles? i usally use a 7rl, depending on the size of tat im doing.

some time my needles snag the skin,

why do you think that is?

  • Generally the type of needles i use are mags round shaders and a few liners...I usually only use liner in certain pieces that will need a thin line without definition and usually use a 5rl or a 9rl if it needs be thick....i use mags to make sharp lines as well but it takes practice as well as sometimes i use no lines.mostly if it is lined I use a 5 rs needle it doesnt tear up the skin as much and if machine is set right will put pretty decent lines.plus you can shapes them l8r with less trauma

  • thats to answer one Q...the other is you have two ways to work with lining(well in general)you have off the tip which is less needle hang*good for beginners* this means you set your needle flush with the tip and let the throw do the depth.....and there is off the needle which is you hang as much as you want out but you need to look at this with arm bar down....and then you just go the right depth into the skin...this is the hard part!!!I

  • continued again ....if your machine is set up just right in key with you off the needle depth...as well as the voltage being just like it needs...you can get a machine that will let you just draw like a pencil....the needle will just go in the right depth everytime and you can usually go oer line about 5 times total if you have a softer hit to it and set up right and use the RS needles...But if a beginner use the off the tube method...and stretch the skin...hope this helpsthe problem

  • hey i got another question bout mags i got a 7 mag for my it doesnt really put any ink in you think you could know what the problem is?

  • Well do not know what to say 7mag and 13 or 15 mag ugpinned are my fav's to use...they throw color in heavy and quick...maybe you need more power than what your using...the color achine should run strong but when it touches skin it should slow down a little more and not hit the skin hard...basially check it with your finger and just a grommet...soft touch it and see if it bogs down a little.....plus you maybe using to much power...it has to be just right

  • Looks like you do some sick work there fella :) an Ivan moody fan? great song

  • I try..I think my work sucks but I am trying to take it to another level....maybe one day i will get there...lol...and yes five finger is definetly the SHIT!!!....ivan moody is pretty talented

  • hey man from scratcher to scratcher thats awesome work your doing..i think mine sucks too but im told differently so idk lol..but yea man hella good

  • Great cover up by the way!

  • I like your work. Good job.

  • whats with the extreme angle of tension screw on shaders...how does it help?...you seem to have a real tech understanding of machines ..something never handed down to me in all my time in shops. Does tension screw need to match surface of spring(should it be filed?)

  • if you have been doing this longer than me maybe i should ask you....no your tension screw does not have to be flush with it...i use more sharp points of all types of machines shaders are great as well as liner.....what doyou mean by extreme angle???Im guessing the way it runs more paralelle...basically it is to make it run softer...the glancing action helps it hit sift that why when you have a liner you point the contact screw near the tube vice most of the time...hope it helps

  • Hey man, its really cool that you share what youve learned with others online about tattooing...When I first began in 92 everything was a fuckin trade secret and as soon as any tattist found out I had art talent they tried to take advantage and held bak info. Your input is selfless and appreciated

  • I do not wanna be the same asshole self centered artist most professional artist are....I havent paid or worked for any of the knowledge i have...i taught myself

  • Hey mane not bad for 6 months but I like to use 5 and 7 tight liners depending on the skin town and the project but I use 7 the most bcuz the give u a more defind line and I love to use a 7 mag stacked ( 7m1 ) and a five for small shit like cherrys and little butterflys..

  • a stacked mag is an m2 a weaved mag is a m1....I have used 7 beforebut i like fat lines for the most partit helps shit pop.....but sometimes i dont even use linersat all....i use 5's and 9's usually everyonce in a while I might use a 3 or a 14.....and 7 mags are the shit....personally to small for a alot of shit when you use bugpins instead of sewing needles....but bugpins do the best shading in my opinion but you wanna get like 15's for them

  • some nice work here. im learning how to tattoo practiced all over my legs and left arm.like all your videos

    cheers keep em coming

  • hey dawg im only 16 nd im doin tatts to ive been doin em for bout a year now but i still aint dat good nd shit wut kind of ink do u use i use starbrite nd wut needles do u use im usin 5 nd 7 liners 7 flat shader nd 11 rounds

  • yo dawg....lol......I use star brite intenze kuro sumi alla prima and blend a lot of my own colors......needles...well I have about 20-30 dif needles.....tights(lining)extra tights....loose rounds...weaved mags....stacked mags..flats...rounded mags....i just use the biggest needle possible for that tattoo......but mainly i use a 5-9 tight and like a 11,13,15 weaved mag.....but all theese are still either regular sewing neeldes or the bugpins....#12 #10 #8 smaller #smaller needle

  • i take my hate of to you ai cuse i have been doing it for about 3 months now and i have only had 2 or 3 good tattoo out of it i think it is because i havent got my machines tuned rite at one stage i was using 1 machine for all but now 2 but still not comming out rite because i havent tuned them and not to mention that they are ebay crap thats were your other videos came in handy thanks again keep em coming mate

    thank you

  • you should post a vid showing how you do grey shading in detail. . . . . keep up the good work

  • really nothing to it...you have whipping from going to dark to light...you have over shading which is hard to do unless properly adjusted for it basically you can cover a whole area with that tecnique.....basically get you sreywash set and go from there...Ill try to do a video of it when I do a nice peice of it next time.....but llike i saidin the beggining hard for me too when I do not have someone to hold the camera

  • well done dude.. iv started to practice but just cant get to grips with it!
