who played the crow for the rest of the film or was the scene when he got shot the last one they filmed?

@ramm2000 I believe they used a double and special effects to complete the film. It was almost done when it happened. I'm not sure though who played the double. The footage where Brandon got shot was destroyed. You can find out more googling around too ;)

@ramm2000 Brandon Lee played the part. The only scene that is not "him" is the one where he enters the apartment in the beginning. That scene is actually a computer image of him from the alley. They used it in the beginning along with a body double to finish the movie. Many films are shot from end to beginning, so everything except the very first scenes are Brandon Lee himself.

@ramm2000 yeah, brandon's stunt double was a very close match build wise, so they used him to finish. It happened 3 days before filming was set to end and 8 days before Brandon's marriage to eliza (who is the girl remembered at the end along with brandon). The scene where he was killed was the one where t-bird and his crew are in their apartment. it was the actor playing funboy who had the gun that was mis-loaded with live rounds (there's a raft of theories about this).

@GarytheAxe yeah i read that it was the start of the film that was the very last scene that they were going to do because that shot all the scene when he had the make-up on and finish off with out it so the very last thing that they filmed was when he walking in on his girlfriend being raped and the character big boy shot him so they had to us someone else and the actor who shot Brandon Lee by accident took a year off.

@ramm2000 yep, that was how they did it. He walked in got hit by something. There's a difference in stories, some say a squib went off in the bag he was carrying, some that it was one on his body, others that there was a sliver of metal in the barrel of the prop gun, or that there was a live bullet placed in a real gun by mistake. Or he was shot in the back with a .22 by a triad assassin. Whatever it was had to pierce his stomach before lodging near his spine.

Rochelle Davis, Brandon Lee and that guy who played Top Dollar. They're mainly what made The Crow memorable first time round. It's a pity none of them are in the other ones, which I haven't got round to watching yet. I don't think they'll be so good tho'.
