1. The 3rd season sucked. It was the invasion of the Mary Sues and filler episodes. Then again what can you expect when you kill off the main characters soul mate. In a way I'm glad it ended when it did cause it just wasn't the same without Marian. I would so be in favor of a fourth season if Marian had lived.

2. He died. If they where to come back with a forth season, it would be completely illogical if he suddenly came back to life.

In the last episode, they mentioned that Richard was being held by the Duke of Austria. So, since they were seemingly aiming for a bit of historical accuracy, I doubt a season 4 would have resolved things in a happy way, as King John was never defeated in real history and Richard died from a stray arrow.

I don't think they should make a season 4. How can you have Robin Hood without the title character? I cried throughout the final ep. of season 3 just like the next girl, but I think it was a fitting ending for the show.

this isnt going to work, just leave it. they had a ace ending. it was the ending to the whole thing. a super ending. bringing it back will ruin that and people wont watch it as it wont be as good. Just leave it. it will go into good history as remembering it as an ace finale. the story was in the 3 series. just let it go.

They could, but I'm not sure how it would work, cause they've killed, Robin, Guy, Sherrif, everyone else in the castle, and it's just Kate, Much, Tuck, John and Archer... I think they were thinking about taking on the Archer character, and doing something with that... Whether anything esculated from that, i'm not too sure... They could bring it back with Archer, unless the BBC are going to make somehting elce, but they are doing Doctor Who again, and Merlin... Just have to wait and see...
