We sat next to each other at PLDC in ft. stewart, he was a hilarious person and highly knowledgeable. Only knew him for 4 weeks but seeing this hits hard, really miss him... he's the kind of person that stands out in your memory. very sorry to hear.
I grew up with Lance. He lived a few streets down from me in Amber Meadows. I used to play at his house and he did too at mine. I invited him to several of my birthday parties as a kid and he attended all of them. I was in the boy scouts for a short time with him as well. We played Nintendo, ran around outside, read comics, all things young boys do. He even showed me the most support out of all my friends when I was diagnosed with Leukimia. I am so proud to have known him. R.I.P. my friend.
First of all, this is the extremely moving short clip. It had brought me in tears. I'm deaf, with hearing children. I salute to Sergeant First Class Lance Herman Vogeler and the rest of Men and Women of all Armed Forces for protecting our lives. My condolences to Vogeler Family, you have our thoughts and prayers for Deaf Parents and their families. Secondly, 12 tours? That's like living in the war from day one to now. Sergeant First Class Lance Herman Vogeler have given his life for others 2 lv
Lance's wife is my cousin's cousin. I visited with them the night it happened. It was a very sad time, but now we can celebrate because she has a healthy baby boy to remember him by!
Very touching and so sad for his family's loss...thank goodness for memories and pictures. He sounded like a great guy! My heart goes out to his parents and his family/friends!! RIP Sgt Lance Vogeler!!
Lance you will be truly missed!! I went to school with him all 12 years and his first born and my daughter played as little girls. And words can not explain the smile I will miss on that little girl when she talks about him. But I know that when she does talk about him now she will have memories and she will be now and forever proud of what her daddy did for our country. My husband will be deploying at the end of the year to finish along with other soldiers for the fight if Freedom. My prayers
