  • are people actually arguing about america entering WWII? holy shit people. it is done and over with. move on.

  • Rather than just a leaky sunken memorial to the poor young men of the Arizona who were callously used as bait by FDR to enter the second World War, how about adding a nice life size bronze memorial showing FDR being wheeled up the disabled access ramp to the Gates of Hell under the guard of a pair of seaman.

  • Oh, cut the shit. Remove the oil however possible. Preferably with the least amount of visual change for those on the surface.

  • So close and yet no one has done anything about it?

    Shame on you.

  • @pine829 Cameras were not that hard to use back then infact they were fairly easy only hard thing was getting the film developed. But the again they had places to do that. Also desecrating a tomb no matter if it's stone or steal or 1-1000 years old is still illegal.

  • @Wolfstanus Really? People dig up bones and move bodies all the time. In the city in which I live they dug up a Veterans Cemetery so they could put in a freeway. People dig up Indian tombs all the time. It is "illegal" only if the people are part of a group we don't consider "modern" or if some politically well connected guy can make money.

High quality color movie equipment being available at 8am on a Sun morning on a ship anchored with a perfect view is suspicious to me

  • Rest in peace Men of the USS Arizona

  • @rocknrollme6 lol im pretty sure they are already resting in peace after 70 yrs

  • Why can't this oil be collected, put in little vials attached to a plaque stating "Bunker oil U.S.S Arizona", then sell these and use the money to keep up the memorial? I for one would be proud to own something like that.

  • There is more oil being dumped off ships every day illegally than this will spill in next 50 years.

  • If you care to examine history, FDR used these ships and these sailors as bait to get the US into a war with Japan having first cut off oil to Japan from the Dutch East Indies and by cutting off US exports of steel, oil and otherwise to Japan. The US was already at war with Japan via the Flying Tigers and the air (B-17) buildup in the Philippines. These men are no more hero's than a piece of cheese in a mousetrap. FDR killed them. Fix the leak.

  • @pine829 The levels of retardery in you truly astonish me.

  • @StalkingRainbow Really? Everything I wrote is true. FDR knew about the attack and, in fact, set it up. Look it up yourself. It is not hard to find. Pay particular attention to Kimmel's correspondence and position

Although I suspect that you are more interested in being able to talk tough and wave the flag.

What should astonish you is how easy it is to convince a nation of retarded sheep that a war in Japan and Europe were somehow in the "vital interests" of the US.

  • @pine829 You just keep raising the bar don't you?

  • @StalkingRainbow No, I think I would prefer to raise the rusting hulk of the Arizona from the harbor and get rid of it.

Allow these men some dignity. Using the death trap ship of a thousand sailors who did not know they were being served up as bait by their treasonous commander in chief to sell souvenir ashtrays and tee shirts is reprehensible.

To immortalize them in a lie is to turn a blind eye to the crime

If you can't give them justice, then at least respect..

  • @StalkingRainbow As long as I have your attention, consider this:

On Dec 7 1941 all the battleships were parked in a neat line off the NE corner of Ford Island. In 1941, color movie film was extremely rare. Portable movie cameras were also very rare. A person trained to use both simultaneously was even rarer.

Yet, on the hospital ship Solace with a perfect of these ships just such a photographer happened to be filming at 8:00am on a Sunday morning.

    Lucky eh?

  • @pine829 So its strange for 1 person out of thousands at that harbor to have a camera?

And by lifting the ship you'd be desicrating their tomb. Listen your consipracy theories are horse shit bro. We cut trade to the Japs because of their invasion of China not to get involved in the war.

Have you ever thought about why we didn't just jump in the war? If we wanted in we would have just jumped in, thats how we Americans do things.

  • @Rainbow What I find "strange" is that FDR moved the fleet from San Diego to Pearl over the objection of the then commander, then fired that commander when he wouldn't shut up about it. Then didn't listen to his replacement when he made the same criticisms and then repeatedly ordered that commander not to take defensive action and instead did everything he could to weaken the Pearl Fleet.

Then a rare camera crew overlooking a row of sitting ducks makes sense.

  • @pine829 You mean when he split the fleet so that we had two fleets? Remeber we only had one fleet at that point and the reason he split them up was because he wanted US ships to protect the cargo ships heading for the Brits because he knew the Nazis wouldn't attack the cargo ships if there were US ships with them. Until the attack on Pearl Harbor we didn't see the Japanese as a big threat thats why they were sitting ducks.

PS The color film you saw was colorized black and white film.

  • @StalkingRainbow No and completely wrong.

Apr 1940 FDR begins moving ships from San Diego to Pearl. Admiral Richardson protests that Pearl is too vulnerable.

Jul 25 1940 FDR cuts off oil and metals to Japan

Sep 1940 FDR gives 50 destroyers to Britain

Sep 26 1941 FDR cuts off iron to Japan

Oct 1940 Richardson flies to Washington to protest to FDR about vulnerability of ships at Pearl. Strongly disagrees with FDR.

  • Oct 4 1940 Churchill gives permission to have US ships in Singapore (near oil fields used by Japan)

Nov 13 1940 Under US pressure Dutch reduce oil to Japan Give permission to US for warships in Dutch East Indies (near oil Japan uses)

    Dec 17 1940 FDR announces Lend-Lease

Dec 31 1940 US trade restriction to Japan on fuel, metals. machinery and tools.

Jan 1 1941 24 US submarines sent to Orient

  • Jan 24 1941 Sec of Navy Knox announces that he agrees with Richardson - Pearl is too dangerous.

Jan 27 1941 FDR secretly agrees that if the US goes to war with Japan the number 1 priority will be helping Britain with Germany first.

Feb 1 1941 FDR fires Admiral Richardson because he won't shut up about Pearl. Replaces him with Admiral Kimmel.

  • Mar 15 1941 FDR begins sending US warships into Japanese home waters (Bungo Strait) American public is not told of this provocative maneuver.

May 26 1941 Admiral Kimmel warns that Pearl fleet is undergunned and vulnerable. US is still sailing warships into Japanese waters.

May 31 1941 Over Kimmels protests ships are removed from Pearl

Jul 26 1941 FDR freezes all Japanese assets.

  • Aug 1941 FDR OK creation of Flying Tigers to wage air war against Japan. Although the public is told that this is a "volunteer force" it is actually managed by the US. This step is illegal in that it violated the Neutrality Act

Aug 9 1941 Atlantic Conference: FDR tells Churchill that he plans to get into the war. No one tells Kimmel.

Oct 9 1941 US intercepts "bomb plot" message indicating Pearl is a target.

  • Nov 25 1941 Sec of War Stimson makes notes in his diary that the FDR war council believes that we will be attacked by Japan "...as soon as next Monday". He notes that the Presidents concern is "how we should maneuver them into firing the first shot.".. No one tells Kimmel.

Nov 26 1941 After meeting with FDR Admiral Stark and General Marshall radio Kimmel and order him to send his 2 remaining carriers out to sea. Pearl defenses further weakened.

  • Nov 1941 Kimmel sends his own fleet (46 ships with 126 aircraft) to where he thinks a Japanese attack would start, the Prokofiev Seamount. When FDR hears about this he orders these ships back to Pearl.

Early Dec 1941 Now the only ships in Pearl are a bunch of old destroyers (the Arizona was built in 1915, the Utah 1909 and the Oklahoma 1914) These ships are sitting in a neet row off the NE tip of Ford Island. The hospital ship (a non-target) overlooks then from the North.

  • Dec 6 1941 General Hap Arnold goes to Sacramento to warn base that "Japanese attack is imminent". FDR reads Japanese intercept. Tells his assistant Harry Hopkins "this means war". No one tells Kimmel

The bait is now sitting in Pearl.

Dec 7 1941 The Japanese attack. The camera crew on the deck of the Solace film the whole event in color. Thousands of American sailors are killed. It is on news reels with days.

  • Following this FDR delivers the most lie filled speech ever given by a US President. He claims that the event was a surprise when in fact he had orchestrated the entire event. Thousands of American boys are used as bait to promote a war.

As a final lie and insult, Kimmel is relieved of command and blamed for the disaster. Decades later, after he is dead, the US government exonerates him

  • Finally, the film IS NOT COLORIZED. This is one of the things that pisses me off the most. They thought about this enough to even have a film crew for their treachery.

  • As a final PS and irony. The Japanese attack was launched from the Prokofiev Seamount. The exact spot that Kimmel was looking for the Japanese fleet before he was ordered back to Pearl by FDR. Had Kimmel been allowed to do his duty, the day would have been much different.

FDR is to blame alone for the dead in Pearl.

  • @pine829 Direct quoute from you "In 1941 Color movie film was extremely rare." And yes we knew the Japanese would attack us eventually but FDR took the gamble that maybe they wouldn't to keep us out of the war. There was nothing he could do about the attack and your conspiracy theories are still a crock of horse shit.

  • @StalkingRainbow No. FDR was not "gambling". He wanted into a war with both Japan and Germany. Since Japan and Germany already had an agreement, he knew he only had to bait Japan to get it.

He carefully did this as I outlined. It is clear.

The American public went along like the retarded sheep they are.

The ships and sailors who died at Pearl were little more than cheese in a mousetrap, not heroes...unless you consider everyone who gets sucker-punched a hero.

  • @pine829 Its good to see you have all the answers. It would be great if the USA hadn't have got involved in WW2 and the nazis could have murdered every Jew in europe.

  • @5115wb You have a very American-centric view of WW2. Facts: People killed by governments who were in WW2: Allies Russia (Stalin) 42,6720,000 China (Chiang Kai-Shek) 10,214,000 Total Allies 52,886,000 Axis Germany (Hitler) 20,946,000 Japan (Tojo) 5,964,000 Total Axis 26,910,000 The US was on the side who's members committed the most number of murders by a ratio of 2 to 1. Second, Jews were a very minor part of the war by comparison.
  • @pine829 Im not american, and i have never been to america, so that was an epic fail.

Its the truth, if the USA hadnt of been involved europe would have been the soviet union.

  • @5115wb I didn't say you were American. I said your views were "American-centric".

"...been the soviet union.". My argument is: so what? The US was not threatened.

As it was, the US entered the war on the side of the bigger bad guys if you use the metric of the number of people killed by their own government as a measure of "badness".

  • @pine829 The winners in this war were not pearly-toothed, white-hat good guys. Russia went on to kill tens of millions of its own citizens following the war and Mao Zedong went on to kill 40 million of his own citizens likewise.

So, American intervention in WW2 may have ultimately resulted in MORE people being killed worldwide, not less. This is called "unintended blowback".

What I do know is that America was not threatened militarily by anyone in the European war.

  • @pine829 The enemy of my enemy is my friend. You know after pearl harbour germany declared war on the USA? you are aware of that?

  • @5115wb Yes, of course. The Tripartite Treaty is perfect example of the destructive effect of nation to nation entanglements

This meant that FDR did not have to bait Germany into a war separately which would have been politically more difficult. Rather, he needed only to set the trap at Pearl for the Japanese and he would kill two birds with one stone

Were it not so twisted and wrong and had so many Americans not lost their lives, one could admire FDR's treachery as brilliant.

  • @5115wb The problem with the US entering wars, including WW1 and WW2, was that it changed the balance of these wars.

In the first case, Europe had fought to a stalemate and without the US, WW1 would have gone down as just another European war. The US entering changed the balance and outcome. Thus, the onerous provisions of the Treaty of Versailles would likely not have happened. Without these back breaking provisions there likely would have been no WW2

  • You see, it was the ravaged economy of the Treaty of Versailles that produced the soil that grew Hitler. WW2 was just the second phase of WW1. Therefore, more people were killed ultimately because the US entered, not less.

In the second case, the US entering the war produced the climate that produced a strong Russia, the Stalin purges, the cold war and the 40 million dead by Mao Zedong as part of The Great Leap Forward. Again, more, not less people were killed.

  • In neither case was the US in any danger. Our entering these wars only changed which bad guy won, not whether it was a good guy or a bad guy.

Since you spell harbor as "harbour" I assume that you are either a Brit or suchlike. From my perspective, (and this is the perspective of the Founders of the US) there is nothing different about the reciprocities committed by the Brits in the conquest of their empire vs the atrocities committed by the Germans pursuing theirs.

  • The Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, British and French empires were morally, militarily, ethically or strategically different than what Germany was up to. The Brits slaughtered whole towns in their conquest of India. Shit, it was still legal to hunt Aboriginal people in Australia in the 20th century. All of these engaged in massive slave trade.

The present day Americans are no better.

    All empires behave the same.

  • These little nazi bastards think they know everything. 5 million barrels of oil leak from the ocean bottom every year in deep fishers. But your nazi professors didn't tell you idiots that. so take a fu$% break fascists.

  • This is an environmental hazard, they should raise the fucking wreck.

  • the Oil is not hidden in the ship , it is nearly all fuel oil which was burned in boilers to make steam to turn the propulsion turbines and other auxilary machinery .

If there are substantial quantities in the hull still then you merely have to tap the fuel tanks and put a pump hose through the hole .

opening a second water inlet at lower level means the remaining liquid can be pumped out ( much will be solid goo by now )

  • DRILL BABY DRILL DRILL

  • I hate you all, you all are idiots.

This should be cleaned up. Simple as that. This is like saying, the bricks of the trade centers were tears of the people who were killed, we should leave them everywhere.

No, we shouldn't, didn't and actually, we cleaned it. Why wouldn't we give a fuck about the ocean's environment when it produces most of our oxygen?

When your kids choke on your pride and neglect, remember to tell them, it was because of pride that this occurred in the first place.

  • @Rtothenurse Yeah, the oli leaking from one source so small will pollute the whole Goddamn ocean. A few railroad locomotives or a few more semis pollute the environment each day more than that. How about all the plastic bags in the ocean which are killing marine life. How about all the oil spills, the Gulf, Exxon Valdez, and how about the volcanic eruptions. If you wish to bitch and preach, find some priorities that are genuine and valid. Yes, be environmental aware, but in a real sense.

  • @9241937 That comparison doesn't make sense at all!

  • @crxtech1 Well it does to me but that's only one person's opinion, just as yours is. Neither happens to be exactly engraved in granite.

  • @Rtothenurse This is a shrine to young kids who were murdered in the bastion of youth. This should have never been allowed & should be cleaned. You don't celebrate death, you honor life! It's amazing how soo many Christains agree w/ this practice. If we had more joy in life, less death would occur. Paganism of the highest order.

  • @Rtothenurse

    "WE" are all idiots?

A true idiot thinks we should desecrate this site in the name of stopping 2 gallons of fuel oil per year from leaking into the friggin ocean.

Do you realize how much raw crude oil leeches naturally from the ocean floor every single day? Are you really so ate up with hating the human race that you have no ability to think rationally?

I guess YOUR grandfather must not be buried under that tomb.

    ... idiot

  • @funkyzero It would appear that Rothenurse has no time or reason for any opinions but his/hers. To hate all and any who just might have the audacity to disagree sounds a bit psychopathic to say the least. Whatever happened to, "I must disagree with you but respect your right to your opinion"? This person must really despise the Vulcan Gods who allowed the eruptions of Krakatoa, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Etna and all the others who dared to puke on the planet without permission. What a dipstick.

  • Being from Arizona, this video made me cry.

    Thank you for posting.

  • @AccordGTR

    Go fuck yourself

  • That's not just oil but rather it the tears of Arizona a ship that still morns for the Sailors and Marines who died on December 7, 1941. As the number of service men and woman who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor fall victim's to the ravages of time we must ensure their legacy is not forgotten. We need to be vigilant to remember our history so were do not repeat the mistakes of our past to do so would be a disservice to all that served our country and to those who have died for her

  • @gullreefclub Hear...Hear......

  • tomb is as tomb does, if they've built something over it so people can gawk, some type of containment could be put in place, sealing & containing would solidify tomb status, perhaps blocking the 'view', guess watch stuff float up to you is better than going to it and touching, their deaths were tragic, and according to 'Docs' released by the Freedom of Info Act, possibly avoidable, I don't think it 'Honors' their memory to allow destruction to continue, the whole thing is very sad, all sides

  • Oh youtube, you are just the epitome of respect and classiness *sarcasm*

  • @320bit

Really? Raise the Arizona for oil? Do you know how many people are resting in there?

    Its their freaking tomb!

How bout 60 years when you die I'll raise you and use you as oil?

  • @ACE56221 320bit obviously can't see anything past money and profit. Really stereotypical American behavior. I am of Japanese descent and even I have more respect for those who have fallen on the USS Arizona.

  • @ACE56221 Ikr what kind of sick person wants to raise a memorial because of oil. It hurts to know that some people don't care about the men in the navy who gave their lives that day.

  • This is definitely a marxist-moke propaganda-film.One must understand that most mokes today are not pure-bread,but hold alot of jap-blood in their Marxist DNA makeup.JAP blood. These half-breed jap-mokes need to stop halucenating, when all they see is OIL floating up from the TOMB of the USS Arizona. Amerikan BLOOD! Moke. The blood of Amerikans is what you see, rising up to the surface.Comprendee,jap-moke?Respect the grave of my Amerikan heritage. The USS ARIZONA isn't going anywhere, moke.Comprendee?

  • According to a US Navy news reel of the era, most of the ships sunk at Pearl Harbor were pulled back out of the sea and repaired.

  • I'm suprised the Enviromental Extremists in Hawai'i haven't demanded that it be removed. I was there and I saw the oil leaking, its hard to believe that it was lost with all hands

  • @Stargate404 lost with all hands? no not all died in the Arizona.

  • OH IT REALLY STILL IS I BEEN THERE

  • Refloat them? oil for ten cars? What do you people think of at night? What color is the sky in your world? If it was a jap ship it would be gone? The fucking JAPS are the reason shes on the bottem of pearl. FUCK ME !You asshols get a grip.

  • They're called the tears of the Arizona. They won't stop coming out untill the last Arizona survivour dies.

  • @starwarsfandude lol thats fucking stupid

  • u should play the song from the movie Titanic.

  • to all the sailors who died in pearl harbour, rest in piece and may god be with you

  • @timberwolf218 No. It is already a memorial. A resting place and an American monument. The Arizona is their resting place.

  • Float them & charge adm? Drain oil 4 cars? What's the matter with u people?? This is a grave site 4 over 1,000 men who never had a chance. Men, most of them 18-19 years old who had just started 2 taste life & left 1s who loved them wondering Y. Use yr brain faster than yr fingers.

  • @mrt57rn They don't get it. Just more liberal enviromentalist. These men's hallowed tombs are more important. You're right on.

  • @zeewaker @ least there r a few of us who get it. Thanks 4 the positive reply.

  • Is there a way we can float them and dry dock them? Make it a memorial and hire people to show the boats to tourists. Accept volinteer work too, and then have the rest of the money bail out our country. It's a win win.

  • already was later

  • Random black navy dude:''Mama...''

    -Arizona wents BOOM!-

    I always remember that scene.

  • @NoobSnoopy no he said "son of a..." and then you see the deck erupt from the explosion!

  • @GreenTeaLSD

    Thanks for the fixing.

  • And if there is really still that much oil left in the ship, why not salvage it? Really? That makes the most sense to me, to salvage the biggest commodity in the world would be a smart idea.

  • @320bit There are graves in that ship, bodies of many men. Would you really ruin a grave for money? Those men were navy men, our military. Although that they are older than the current age, they still fought for us. I have been to that memorial, I stood over that ship. It is just as sad as the twin towers. They were attacked too. Besides, there isn't enough oil in there to fuel ten cars for a week.

  • @NaaraxHatake 500,000 gallons of oil isnt enough to fuel ten cars for a week? Your right. That would probably only fuel a million cars for a year.

  • @NaaraxHatake That would probably more realistically produce 200+k gallons of gasoline. And if that cant fuel ten cars for a week, you need to buy new cars buddy.

  • IT'S A BLOODY MEMORIAL, do you people go around digging up corpses to steal jewelry and watches because they're valuable? What is WRONG with you?

  • @Wafflepudding I dont think the oil had any sentimental value to the people on the ship. Completely different scenarios.

  • @Wafflepudding Just think about it man. Your comparing digging up corpses to steal jewelry from them, of which they were buried with cuz they hold sentimental value to that person. Whereas in this case, the oil had no connection with anyone on the ship and has no sentimental value whatsoever.

  • @320bit You're missing the point. You'd be disturbing a gravesite for money in either case. And BTW, that's not refinable crude oil, that's a combination of navy fuel oil, hydraulic fluids and lubricants.

  • @Wafflepudding Whats it matter anyway, America is going to fall under China any day now.

  • @320bit sure dude.

  • those people died to save us all from japan and the 20 dislikes are japan people

  • the attack on Pearl Harbor must have been ONE of the most cowardly attacks in war history ´(and i'm saying that in general)

  • @WillardW0nka Cowardly? Id call it pretty damn strategic to be honest. I mean, a stealth attack on a sleeping enemy. And I agree the ship needs to be raised before it becomes more fragile and is unable to be moved. Like the titanic, they say they wont be able to raise the titanic without it falling apart in its fragile state. Considering how shallow it is, Id say this ship should be very easy to raise from the water and damage caused by aging in the water is probably minimal.

  • They really need to raise these rusting hulks, remove the corpses, clean em up recycle the steel in them. Makes no sense just leaving them leak oil all this time.

  • The tears of Arizona

  • As of the rig still spilling, I live on oahu to go there on the 10th, my uncles burned and sunk in that ship. The oil isnt a problem, as they only have S-7 Maintenance clean it up every other day, (besides sunday that is)

  • Why are people so selfish and idiotic these days? We're destroying the environment we live in just so we remind people of the past. Why don't we take a picture? It'll last longer! There is no valid excuse to destroy our environment. No memorial is worth more death -- yet many closed minded people fail to see that and end up agreeing with people like a lost puppy that this memorial isn't doing enough harm to be worried about. That is total BS.

  • @sandytoes3 Hey you fucking peice of shit. Have some respect. You're seriously going to mock dead soldiers who gave their lives defending your parents or your grandparents and now the common soldier who defends you? You are the sickest individual i've ever seen. May god give you mercy because if you ever see me. I sure wont.

  • @sandytoes3 ok you selfish piece of shit there are hundreds of soldiers in that ship if you want to disturb them for the sake of "going green" id like you to open the Arizona and look at the bodies in there and tell me what you want to do with them.

my grandfather is still in there and my other grandfather piloted one of the bombers that bombed hiroshima. they both knew eachother before pearl harbor.

    God Bless America.

  • @NiggazWannaShootGunz

Then do him a favor and get his ass out of the water & deliver him to a royal burial or out to sea. Your comment was selfish too.

There's no reason this ship should be there while it leaks hazardous waste. If it were a jap ship, It would be gone!!

Americans can be real arse holes most of the time.

  • have you guys learned nothing of this? instead many of you start insulting each other without showing any respect to these men that died in that day.. anyone here insulting people over facts are just stupid, men died and facts wont bring anyone back

  • @javierpiropo lots of people die everyday for countless reasons... YOU pick & choose which ones YOU want to honor -- like anyone else.

  • still alive

  • This ship will continue to bleed until the US Navy confesses that it knew about the attack beforehand and hid that knowledge from Kimmel and Short. The Navy is still hiding secrets of this cover up 70 years later. The blood of these sailors is on there hands as much as on the Japanese.

    TIME TO TELL THE TRUTH!!

  • @356butch ok, ok......the landing on the moon mission was a hoax, elvis is still alive, president kennedy never died and spent the remainder of his life in a coma in a secret wing of a texas hospital, 911 was an inside job, Space aliens control the government etc, ....did I leave anything out?

  • @inkey2 Yes, you left out Tesla. However there is not a shred of evidence to support any of those so called Conspiracy Theories nor do I believe the ship will leak oil as I've dramatized. Since the passing of the Freedom Of Information Act in 1997, there is between 4000 and 6000 pieces of evidence that indicate that FDR and the Navy was well informed of the attack long beforehand. I did not want to believe either but the proof is there. Please research this subject. You will be surprised.

  • @356butch ok...as to your research about FDR and Pearl Harbor. To me it makes no sense to entirely demolish your only Pacific fleet just to go to war. When Pearl Harbor was attacked the USA's military ranked about 18th in the world, not an impressive ranking at all. We were not ready for war at all. Why would FDR take such a foolish risk to knowingly trash a huge portion of his navy

  • @inkey2 Glad you asked. If you will notice, nearly all of the ships that remained in the harbor on Dec. 7 were aging WW1 ships. The expendables. All of the newer cruisers and destroyers were either on the west coast or accompanying the aircraft carriers to ferry a small hand full of aircraft to Midway and Wake. Before lend lease the US went into high production of the newer Iowa class Battleships and Essex class Carriers in 1938 along with other vessels. So you see we were not lacking at all.

  • @inkey2 Further more, FDR needed a unified US. Until the attack, 88% of the people were against joining "Europe's War" By using 8 specific steps designed by a navy officer who had grown up in Japan, FDR was able to successfully provoke the Japanese into attacking, thus gaining the unification of the people. He was never that concerned about Japan. He wanted to help Churchill beat Hitler and he got the results he sought. The Japanese did not maintain radio silence and the codes were already ours

  • im British and my great grandpa died on that ship he was american married to my British grandma .

  • hey KCgamerz360, u and u'r country sux..

  • hey oil spill was not okay but this is okay to everyone wtf

  • @jesc97 yea actually it is you disrespectful piece of shit! it is ok you know why because so many men are STILL intombed in there... yes they have been dead but back on the following days after December 7th men were still trapped in the ship hitting the walls until they starved the only oxygen left in the ship!!!!!!!!!!!! so yea we will leave it to leak until it stops!

  • @WW2files hey i love this place but really ww2 was the worst time for america so back off you ape shit of a human and america fuck yeah and they should clean that up at least but not close the ship leck that will stop soon i hope

  • @jesc97 still doesnt mean we cant remember who died there. and id rather leave it like this than disturb that ground!

  • why not pump it out

  • @freakyboie19699 oil have been pump out already, but in the tank still have some oil left ,they cant soap it out .

  • lol. i went there! back when i lived in hawaii that is, witch was about 1 1/2 months ago

  • wow that thing must be stronger titanic if it didnt hit the ocean

  • Well this is a pointless VID my great grandpa was on the neveda and he escaped he said the reason why it's still leaking is because there is thousands of tons of oil

  • derp.

  • Man, WWII brings out the worst in people.

  • @broadwaystar2011 Also the best, unified a country, normal people stepped up and gave it all for the rest.

  • Still crying those tears of oil...

  • @AccordGTR you are fuckin crazy, the government didnt know about both attacks, if they did they would have tried to stop. So stop with your gay ass conspiracy crap.

  • @MrRozzi20 Read my response to davo1193. You both are dumb and ignorant. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger. You're a fool if you want to believe a lie all your life. The book DAY OF DECEIT shows top secret official US military documents and memos released to the public when the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT released them. Can you even comprehend that significance? I hate conspiracy BS

  • fuck you all gringos hahahah!!

  • How many gallons is there in a ton of fuel oil? Wikipedia lists the fuel capacity of the USS Arizona at a little less then 2400 tons. I'm just wondering if she has been leaking for 60 years how she could still have 500,00 gallons aboard? As for removing the ship war memorial or not it would seem to me there would be a risk a of a major oil spill just from tampering with the hull at this time. As for the ship being outdated it seems to me the USS Texas did a fine job off the shores of France.

  • @AccordGTR hey man Stfu if the yanks new about an attack they woudl have stopped it, fuck it's people like you that piss me off

  • @davo1193 It's people like u who get pissed of at me cuz u don't like what I say but r too lazy and ignorant to find out the truth. Robert Stinnett is a decorated US Navy WW2 vet turned investigative journalist. That's right, a historian. The Freedom of Information Act allowed him and the public access to top secret documents of which his book DAY OF INFAMY shows that US Navy and FDR wanted Japan to attack so the American public would support all-out war. Stop living like a fool of history!

  • @AccordGTR you sir are a dumbass, i am a WWII reenactor and infact the american public infact did not want to go to war, actually honestly bud, there is no fucking proof of the US wanting the Japanese to attack em, and also i will add that at the end of the day alot of people at pearl harbour lost their lives on that morning , and we shall never forget em, it's like saying that FDR decleared war on hitler, it was hitler that decleard war on the US that brought in that fight against Hitler.

  • @davo1193 U know u end up more a dumbass if u ignore the info I gave u and don't check it out yourself before dismissing me. U r just a "enactor" while Robert Stinett is a medaled war hero of WW2 who did research and posted those offcial US military documents and communiques in his book. He is NOT the only one to get those facts as that is now public info. If u wanna ignore the facts, go right ahead and live and die an IGNORANT DUMBASS.

  • and plus show some fucking respect okay

  • @davo1193 What more RESPECT can I show the dead and the living descendants of those dead than to search and find out the TRUTH?? I didn't make that shit up you know. That was official documents of your govt and military then. If you like to believe history without taking into account the documents, then you are a bigger FOOL than I may believe and your people died in vain so selfish men could get their way. US govt is the biggest liar until today but people like you encourage them

  • YOU PEOPLE SHOULD STOP YOUR COMPLAINING AND JUST RESPECT THOSE MEN WHO FOUGHT AND DIED IN WW2.

  • The oil that leaks from that ship, is what's left of the blood our soilders sacrificed to save our country.

  • blame the Japanese.

  • Dude... That was not that big a deal. Tiny oil spots here and there. I just watched "Pearl Harbor" and those men died for you guys. I'm swedish so I studied WWII in 9th grade (which I gradueted from today, 6/14) and I don't know as much as I'd like to know, but thise men in that ship were brave as hell, and you're bashing them and that ship for leaking a little? Not cool bro.

  • @dracel10 I disagree with you that there is any bashing going on.. it's a fact... there is in no way suggested that the ship should be removed..

  • @MrWalterShow but still, it's not direct.

  • Who gives it is their memorial so we should not mess it up.

  • and what you gonna do when their fuelbunkers breaks open? then the navy has a problem

  • Wow you guys are butt hurt? chill out, people die and war is wrong. I think you need to look back at your country you've done worse to other nations. But oil in the ocean is a large concern and should be cleaned out.

  • Couldn't we at least try to retrieve their dogtags? I mean, for their families' sake.

  • over 2,000 pepole died and all u care about is fucking oil who cares have repect how abou there are still bodies down there i can care less about fucking oil

  • Dont you all get this warm feeling inside of you when you see this, and think about how many Americans died there?:)

  • @zalimoon Is that an Anti-American statement???

  • @Zizumia1 What makes you think that, genius?

  • @zalimoon I dunno, the dumb ass statement probably...It may be since you kind of like the death of humans.. I don't know, I just do not know :)

  • @Zizumia1 God no, I dont like the death of humans. I just love the death of Americans. Its a big difference =)

  • @zalimoon Americans are humans dumb ass =)

  • @Zizumia1 Sure....

  • @zalimoon It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.... =)

  • @Zizumia1 Hold on a moment, Im gona go and get my sarcasm sign.

  • @zalimoon Nah, don't need it

  • @Zizumia1 I dont have a sarcasm sign, I were just being sarcastic.

  • @zalimoon Yeah, I know......

  • @zalimoon No just when I think of you dying better yet shooting you myself. gut shot and dying slowly, painfully. :) yep feeling fuzzy already

  • yeah there an oil shortage alright

  • im german.. im not american and i want to mention that you shouldnt touch the arizona! there many men in the arizona and you should give them peace.. they should rest in peace on the bottom of the sea and it would be false to open the arizona..

  • I don't think they can touch it, it's a war grave to the people who died from it and the people trapped alive inside it

  • remember the U.S. fleet we will always!!!

  • get over it

  • @merelydonut Great - another stupid-ass Canadian popping-off on something he shouldn't ! Buddy, we're not interested in the opinion of some asshole who probably masturbates over Justin Bieber magazine covers. Keep you opinions - and your ass - on your side of the border.

    Hockey sucks !

  • @merelydonut get out of here

  • is the same story as September 11...pfff

  • out of service. gone but never forgotten
