  • Very funny, dumb dumb!!!

  • it means that NO ONE can take what belongs to us AWAY from us.. and we should CHERISH it and not look at culture , language and tradition as evil things, forget about outsiders snipping and the usual crazy sepratist, NIgeria is the LION OF AFRICA .. we are a very enduring people who make the most of what we have and dont complain and moan and whinge about it (generally, but we do make jokes about life tool).I have seen the good, and the bad in nigeria but its HOME... my home and YOURS ,

  • for those of you who are either born in Nigeria or of nigerian patrentage , you should BE PROUD OF YOUR HERITAGE.. its a PRIVILEDGE to be black and to KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU ARE FROM.. i have taken this for GRANTED FOR OVER HALF A CENTURY ... that this was my country, these are my people , this is my heritage with no doubt about it in any shape or form. This is the FOUNDATION STONE that you use to build to great things..nigeria is not america, it doesnt mean we should not improve.

  • nigeria is a beautiful country!!!!!!

  • Aint this exaltation and exhortation of mediocrity?

  • WOW! Black African man face is on the money there COOL ! ! ! PEACE!

  • it is perfectedly normal to have an african face on the currency!!when the colonialist left they took their faces with them too lol!!

  • Whatst the name of these fab songs ?

  • NIGERIA ...LETS PRAY

  • it is okey, so calabar girls are beautiful

  • if u wanna get massacred go ahead and visit nigeria.

  • this my nigerian pple no go kill me with laugh...we wan promote nigeria dey play malian song..abi no nigerian music sweet reach???

or is dis d way to rebrand??

  • Does it matter which music?

Music na music, this one na royality free.

The dance music is Nigerian enough.

By the way, the Name Nigeria is not even a Nigerian word, think of this.

  • hahaha a hyundai

  • Good video i gave it five stars i loved the beat in the very start of the video what beat is that from ?

  • Dvd not for sale.

This is a sample of videos, still pictures, audio and text.

    Dvd not for sale.

  • Edited on Windows XP Movie maker

  • man Nigeria is a long way from improving there are still kids graduating from college and making a living from taxiing people. It has a long way the political leaders arent ready to sacrifice anything for my country. They;re greed is what is holding us back.

  • why should other countries have to sacrifice anything for you? they have their own problems, stop blaming others for your own countries corruption

  • Did I mention any other country, what I meant is that the corruption taking place in the country is destroying Nigeria. The president, governors people in power runnign that country need to make sacrifices no tanyone else to fix the country. Nigeria is in better shape than most of the other african countries. So please read my statement a little clearly.

  • dude you are so stupid

  • Feels awesome to see currency with BLACK FACES! lol! I must go back to africa!

  • I want Aliko Dangote's money

  • What an amazing place

  • This must be in the Hilton Hotel in Abuja. Or originally called Nikkon Nugar. I was just there last week.

  • co to za wieś? i czrne buraki?

  • Nigerians speak several Nigerian languages in addition to English and a modified form of English which we call pidgin English.

Creole is probably spoken in Sierra leone or elsewhere.

    Hope this answers your question.

Subscribe today and rate the videos.

  • what kind os languages ur spoken in nigeria

  • We speak Nigerian languages, the main three are Igbo, Yourba and Hausa. there are several other languages that make Nigeria one of the most culturally diverse places in the world.

The official language is English which 90% of us can speak very well.

I do hope this answers your question.

Thanks for your interest in our beautiful country.

  • wow we av over 300 languages,500 to be precise.

  • Do nigerians speak creole let me know please

  • make a comment, rate the videos, subscribe today

  • hello

  • Yes I love Abuja and Nigeria Too!! I lived there for 10 years!! The video of the dance was made in the Nicon Hilton Hotel, am I right?

  • Nice to see the 1% elite are enjoying the good life while the rest of the country lives in squalor.

  • Oh please!! I don't know why Nigerians are so hung up on this stupid ELITISM bullshit. NIGERIA HAS A HUGE MIDDLE CLASS!! Get your head around this. Daft Nigerians go about spouting that 99% of the population lives under $1 bullshit and I wonder if they are retarded. We are just like any other country. We have Super Rich people, we have Rich people, we have Regular Middle Class People, we have Not So Comfortable people, we have Poor people, and we have Destititute People. Abegi!!

  • Ohh abeg ohh, No be Naija people that said that $1 thing. Na oyinbo people who say am and stupid Naija people who believe am.

Me i no that shit isn't true. I actually had my parents think long and had about every thing from how much they earned when their ass was poor to when they became a middle-class and both of em even laughed when they told me the real answer.

  • I don't know how daft oyinbo people are to think that $1 is how much naija people live on. Since $1 equals 100 and something naira and 100 naira won't even last a minute in Naija talk less a year.

  • Same could be said for the United States right about now. And those are hardly the 1% elite you speak of. Ignorance is not bliss. God Bless.

  • This is a great video. It's hard to find anything about Nigeria that doesn't deal with the negative (419, corruption, crime, poverty, tensions, etc) aspects. This is a side the world needs to see more often. Good work.

  • Honestly I really pray for my country. We have so much wealth but corruption and greed is killing us. But I'll never stop going back...Ever

  • Wow you traveled to africa I really want to go so bad. I am going in 2010 to Cameroon. I am an african american male who has never been to africa. I must see the motherland. Peace And Blessings.

  • I just came back from Nigeria in July and I regret not going to Abuja ugh

  • let us spread peace and love which conquers all evil.

  • wats da name of the song in dere

  • gina:the tittle of the song is I ka barra, meaning your work, in Bambarra(that's a tribe in Mali)

  • cool

  • I take a quite liking for what u down,Nativeofafrica.your videos are always positive...not laden with negativity.I am going straight to watch ur clip on nollywood stars and expect my comments.

  • I MISS HOME!!!!!

  • Lol

  • every thing over their is built and owned by the british. African people did not do shit.

  • You are entitled to bask in your own belief.

The video is not saying who owns what, it is only showing what is where.

  • I love your video. My parents just recently got back from Nigeria and they really talked about the improvement going on in Nigeria. I give Yaradua his props, it seems his actually doing his job.

  • one day i pray God will give us someone to turn nigeria around like dubai....i am tired of we nigerians going abroad...let foreigners come to our country like some other places...dubai is currently undergoing lifetime of development in just 10-15 years of goals set...unbelievable. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

  • i would rather go to nigeria than dubai, dubai is a very hypocritacal and corrupt place behind the image, all the best.

  • Why is black ownership and black control of her own resources so hard to achieve?

We give white people too much credit.

  • You are so right we have been brainwashed when we used to be a people that ruled the world for centuries.

  • Fuck You" British took all Nigeria had away" claiming they're helpin Nigeria or africa" The West can go hang now.

  • Im British and Nigerian, Britain has done more good for Nigeria than most of our politicians have done for us, wouldnt you agree?

Well, they gave us the name Nigeria and the language we all speak (English).

They infact made Nigeria, so, why would it be wrong if they "took" what they need.

I would have you know that so many Nigerians in the UK have benefited from the wealth of the UK and not of Nigeria.

I love Nigeria as land of my birth, but, the truth is we need to look inwards.

    Native.

  • u must be kiddin me.

  • An Igbo advise: Use your tongue to count your teeth.

As you use your tongue to count your own teeth, it leads to contemplation which will make you know that the truth is that its better not to complain about something you can do nothing about.

If you want to help, then start a channel which addresses your point. thats why we tube.

  • i can see u know nothing about nigerian history. britain is a blessing in disguise. they killed our nation. and their shell company has done the worst here. PEACE!!!

  • I wonder what you will say to God on your deathbed. I wonder if you will think that you can enter heaven and there will be all white people. I wonder if you will get the understanding. You can die at anytime life is to short.

  • about!! dat was 2rue A LONG TIME AGO but now da british ppl ( i am a black british) have left us 4 our independent and they left us a long time ago so i dont kno why ur still crap shit

    kmt

r u old or something if u r den u still remeba wot has happend a long time ago, but if u rnt old den why r u still tlking about dat

gosh use ur common sense i cant be talking 2 some1 dat has lost there mind

  • thank you brotha...it was like you read my mind...I want to see this...need to see this...not for the material. But just trying to learn about where my people come from from someone who has actually been there....

  • From Bad to worse every time....

  • In just a few years abuja may become a slum with a lot of shanty houses...Nigerians dont ever want to progress a disgrace to africans, they dont want to do the right thing and they have everything but they are just too lazy to develop a big shame for the greatest oil producer in Africa..

  • Believe it or not, Nigeria actually improved. Nigeria used to be a slum and what you see in the video is the improvement of that country. After military dicatorship, Nigeria is improving.

If your Cuban. You really don't have any mouth to talk, cause Cuba isn't better. Ya'll are developing just like Nigeria.

And how can you know if it's going from bad to worse, have even been Nigeria? or is your statement based on what you see on T.V.?

  • dats VERY HARSH can u not sai dat we Africans are not lazy have u been 2 nigeria I DOUBT IT so why r u saying wot u tink

    kmt

  • i will always rep Nigeria to the fullest be proud of where you're from. All this western countries try and make us feel like we are below them and should be ashamed of where we're from.

I will choose Nigeria any day over any other country. Look at South Africa that is so advanced but they are killing their black brothers and Nigeria is way safer and we still have the culture and family values.

  • Yeah that is true! us Nigerians care more about that stuff than bad things.

  • You know I love Alkebulan _my fathers land __Nile valley region --culture land --birth all civilization --in this space and time none but our self and kind --The SOurce Frees YOUr MInd_Ogun ,Anubu_Aset_Amen_Ra

  • Imagine if all of those who have Nigerian roots from all over the world who are transplants due to slavery would bring their education, talent, skills and wisdom back to Nigeria. All I can say is "Wow."

  • Imagine if one man or woman who loves Nigeria were to go there and setup a self employed enterprise taking advantage of the vast population and growing one of our staple food items like cassava, they will become mega rich as we have a population of over 150m hard eating people.

If you want to go to Nigeria, let me know.

  • america is a very capitalist place its no suprise that they prey on african countrys and teat us like charity cases just for great tax refunds.

  • the first scene in your video: what part of Nigeria is that.

  • guess

  • the first scene in my video is a depiction of Obudu cattle ranch in Nigeria.

The place reminded me of Obudu ranch but, its actually high up in the mountains of Transkei Southafrica.

I love that place, I was reminded of Nigeria so we stopped and my wife made those photos.

  • Africa needs black people from overseas to come back and influence the system, fight to get jobs, businesses etc otherwise, one day, we will be buying sunshine in a bottle.

Nigeria is fast becoming the new Southafrica, Zimbabwean white farmers have relocated to Nigeria but, the media aint telling no one.

They now plant cassava in Kwara state while we live in cold cold Europe and America

  • I will have a video on the treatment of black american farmers soon.

Really drives home the need to reconnect.

  • @NativeOfAfrica So Nigerians need white people to teach them agriculture? Amam na ibu onye Igbo. Cheta na nigeria no ebe ha no, maka ndi Igbo bu ndi bu maradum di n'azu abia n'ochichi. Ndi Igbo nona uwa nile na eche mgbe anyi ga aza Biafra. Nigeria enweghi mmekwata cha cha. Zik si "a broken bottle can never be" mmekwatarism.

  • I have no millions to send to anybody, and pls, dont send me proposals for dodgy business my inbox is full

  • the musik seems to be Efik/Ibibio and the first foto happens to depict the obudu cattle ranch or r my irring?

  • THIS IS A PARODY.

While the dancers performed, a Nigerian Woman was malhandled by security and forcefully removed from the hotel.

She was suspected to be an intending prostitute, I was threatened with violence if i videod it, Nigeria which you and I love so much is in serious trouble, thats why we ran away.

  • jens:The music is from MALI-the tittle is "I ka barra" meaning "your work" in Bambarra

  • Are you telling the truth or is this a joke ? Is there a video for this tune ?

  • The singer is Habib Koite, he's a Malian singer, and the song is called 'I ka barra' meaning 'your work'..look up Habib Koite, or music of Mali

    PEACE!

  • Thank you so much . Now if i could only get the lyrics to the song so i could sing along because i dont know what he is saying . I thought he was a Nigerian singer

  • well i suggest you either get the album, because the lyrics are there or do what me and my daughter did.....just kept listening to it over and over again, till we eventually were able to sing it word for word!

I love my Nigerian music, but Malian music really does 'it' for me!

    PEACE!

  • Wow you and your daughter did that you listened to it word for word and now you know the lyrics thats amazing . I dont even know where to find this persons music i live in Canada .

  • NO WORRIES!

Another Malian singer that I'm syre you'll love her music is Oumou Sangare, her music is AWESOME! • who sang that hausa song, love it....nice video

  • its not a huasa song but its by Habib Koite. available on Microsft vista Windows movie maker.

    hope you find it helpful.

And, yes, the video was rendered on Microsoft Movie maker vista edition.

  • More people live in Nigeria than in any other country in Africa.

  • Nigeria is indeed changing just like any place in the world.

I look forward to going to Nigeria on a more regular basis.

  • Love this my brother. Keep it up

  • i loved the video.Thank you so much.

  • It is exciting to see the changes in Nigeria. Have you moved back?

  • Its great to see the country is taking steps in the right direction and I am glad you are sharing this with us thank you native.

  • Nigeria has a very old culture, but the system of government they currently use is only 50+ years old compared to the vets like the US 200+. It will take time but atleast you arent torn by war.

  • rumoured that a new currency would replace the disdained wheel barrow currency; a step in the right direction

  • like you said Nfefe, its just a rumour

  • Native of Africa great video and I have in fact recently been to the Nicon hotel in Abuja in June. Fantastic place and the dancers were great. . Solid Marble Floors and other 6 star appointments for a Hilton. Cant wait to go back to Abuja sometime.

    Cheers Paul Taylor

  • The hotel was beautiful. The dancers did a great job and YES it is the Nicon Hilton Resort.

  • nice video... that is the nicon hilton hotel isn't it?i i didn't know abaut the new money... how long does it already exist? 2 years ago, when i left nigeria, they still had the old naira...

  • garry, Nigeria is as old as any place in the world. our culture is older than most people can imagine, stay tuned

  • dear native of nigeria

do you know any luwaji from abeokuta

i'm monica tokumbo luwaji, my father was michael adgebite luwaji

he died 25 years ago and i'm looking for any memeber of my family in nigeria

  • Hi, Mamaka, Im sorry but I do not know.

However, I will urge you not to give up in your search. Good luck.

  • Hi I just wanted to say don't give up hope. Since you know the City he was from try and find out the areas and ask there, As an Nigerian you will find the people very helpful and friendly, they take this sort of issue serious. Don't give up hope, I found my father after even more years.

  • hello, i have a friend who lives in Abeokuta when he is in Nigeria. If you dont mind, please send your informations to my tube post and i will pass it to him. Maybe he could help you with the research. As a matter of fact, I can tender your question to the Yoruba organisation here in Germany. It would help if u can still recall the quarter ur father hails from in Abeokuta. where r u right now? I mean in which country do u reside?

  • Canadian Here...Nigeria seems so full of culture, rich culture. Ancient culture...being from Canada lol...we dont have that ancient culture. We're only 165 years old. But I guess our culture is more future oriented, and in the process of creating an ancient culture lol. Nigeria is beautiful-you are lucky to live in such a wonderful place :)

  • i love nigeria.............:(
