SRT cars used to have sound insulation in the flooring. This insulation was removed during a major overhaul and not replaced, resulting in today's noisy ride.

I have to agree with u guys about these noisy ICTS Mark I trains, they sound like the entire Hawker Siddeley fleet all rolled into one, on steroids.

The Scarborough RT is gonna be 30 years old and I hope that the new LRT cars it does not make too much noise like the SRT.

too bad you can't film from the front without the cab door in the way !

I hope the replacement cars are better and quieter than the current SRT cars.

the TTC should also consider lengthening the platforms and trains for this line.

more crossover switches should be added too !

@northlanderdude The TTC actually is lengthening the platforms. That's one of the things they're doing during the reno. I don't know whether they're adding crossovers, but it certainly makes sense to have more.
