I still love, love, love the small throw that I made using your Scrappy Steps videos! I use it on my piano bench and have had many compliments. It is gorgeous with the many colors and fringe. Thank you again, Beth. ps Happy New Year!
I'm trying to make this blanket because my daughter saw me looking at the video's. My stiches are coming out loser than yours and you see the gaps between the steps. What can I do to fix this?
@fill9twos Thanks for the compliment! I had a an eBay store several years ago and Then I had an Etsy store. I discovered I do better making videos than selling stuff. I crochet for charity and gifts and teach. That is my niche. Too many people think they could buy an afghan like this one for about $15. I would charge more like $50.
@ilovstodance Most cameras are compatible. When You edit the video, publish it in wmv format using Windows Movie Maker. It comes free with most Microsoft computers. This is what I used with my earlier videos. My new camera is HD capable and it produces better quality images, but it's not necessary.

@Althena2006 You can make 2 chains instead of 3 for the first dc. You also can pull the sl st tight.

@hulda2002 I don't remember. I get lots of scraps from the crochet group at my community center too. It doesn't take long for me.
