hmmmm, i never use them to be honest, cause sony vegas editing u can just edit it the way you want, just advice, but the things u will need for your work, do't buy extra stuff u won't need. Plus u never know in the future u might need to buy an audio set or wide/telephoto lense. so know first what will u shoot and what will u need for it.

dvx100 is the best to be honest, HVX is expensive and you can do great stuff with dvx100 and cheaper, check dvxuser . com you will have everything u need to know about that camera there.
