  • this is gay

  • Hope my neighbours like this song.

  • Skinny Puppy. Because Fat Kittens just don't cut it.

  • @Sam5726 really lame comment that wont get any thumbs up like you thought it would

  • Ótima banda !

  • its a tough call, assimilate or smothered hope..but as im from oz and tom ellard from severed heads wrote/produced it with the puppies- it gets the nod from me. also, i might mention; testure, shore lined poison, chainsaw, k9, and that one of cleanse fold manipulate about domestic violence- i dont want to talk about it.. u kno the one. actually, my final year movie flatmate used it as soundtrack to a final year show and not only got the dux but a $5000 payout- of which i got $500. love u ogre!

  • @z1rakz1gal i meant assimilate if u missed the point!

  • @EV1DEN5E

A true puppy fan is born.

  • feeling like Halloween 2k11

  • @EV1DEN5E I agree : sounding electronic/industrial but keeping evil AND without guitars too upfront. May I recommend : Colder 'on my mind' (live version).

  • @EV1DEN5E front line assembly are people from skinny puppy...just thought id let you know :)

  • umm im in the wrong place

  • I hope I find this song again. I hope that hope doesn't get smothered

  • sounds like a constipated version of crystal castles

  • @EV1DEN5E Welcome.

  • On one hand, I wish this had more views. People need to be exposed to this music, to this side of life, instead of just the total shit that dominates pop culture currently.

On the other hand, I'm glad it doesn't have more views. This is still underground, edgy, dark, and real. I'm glad it's not diluted by so many people liking it that it starts to lose the mystery and purity it has always held for me.

This is one of the most important songs in my life and I hope it always stays that way.

  • @starmartyr11 it's underground in comparison but if you know anything about industrial music this artist is very popular and they should be, industrial music will always be underground imo

  • bow to your god the satyricon!

  • I let my 4 year old daughter listen to the first 30 seconds of TOO DARK PARK today. She told me to change it so it didn't give her nightmares. (add unhappy face here)

  • singer is so cute

  • I like sports and intellectuals, so I should be hated and liked right?

  • That nerdboy needs to take singing lessons.

  • @ingelaaaaaa Singing lessons are for sissies!

  • @ingelaaaaaa listen to his solo project "ohGr" he can sing when the need arises, but its his signature style, not everything needs to flow perfectly in a song, plus this guys lyrics mean a shit ton more then 99% of the artists that have been around the last 15 years

  • I always like to listen to this song when I'm having a depressing day.

The lyrics are usually pretty relatable at that point haha.

It usually always makes me feel a bit better though :)

  • Skinny Rules, Nocturnal Emissions Rules

  • Skinny puppy did the soundtrack for Descent...

  • In an alternate dark universe, this is a number one pop song.

  • @halation777 dam rite

  • @halation777 no-no) It's number two, Assimilate is first)

  • probably my favorite video on youtube!

  • skinny puppy getting her done...not conforming to todays version of society...keeping it fucking real...morality,depth,emotion,everything a good track should have...think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "they don't sell millions of records"... Yes. yes, they do. On their self-owned label, no less. But Skinny Puppy has always been about the music, so fuck this petty whining and turn up your speakers..

  • @KhetNiu so they sell millions? care to point me to their 3x platinum releases?

  • @hellchild65 You talking about SP? You want a 3x platinum release go somewhere that caters to the great unwashed, fucking plebian.

  • @TheL4nce i was talking to someone who said SP is massively popular and their albums are huge, i didnt say popularity equals success. dont assume

  • Shut the fuck up and listen to the music you little shits!!!! Your petty horse shit means nothing to the rest of humanity. Your love of human sporting events disgusts everybody with a brain. Perhaps the vomit of your perceptions yacks halfway up the trachea of human events, but its disturbances rain down solely upon yourselves. For shame! It's miserable fuckwits like yourselves whom are the reason people like Al J. gave up the fight!!!! YOU MAKE ME SICK!! Raise your minds!

  • I saw these guys in concert in 1986 in Windsor with Severed Heads opening, fantastic but I temp lost my hearing for awhile...take heed..wear earplugs!

  • the world is a hell - what happens inn it

  • whip me

  • it's not in the rhyme or reason so it goes with every season

crawl to top fall through bottom first hand love is really rotten

  • fuck JUST fuck , IM Adam dugovic, ask me , ill kill .made sence , my had ,

  • right on i saw them 2 yrs ago hope i see them again!

  • @143tank I interviewed them in Montreal in 86 for Concordia University College Radio on the Mind TPI tour. Shitload of beer at Les Foufounes Electriques. We stayed at the club until 5 am drinking and talking obscure industrial & noise bands.

  • I would've loved to see these guys live!!

  • @disturbedfan211 You'll have your chance to see them when they release their next album later this year... I saw them on their last date of the In Solvent See tour, and they've still got it. I'm so excited to see them again. :)

  • Ich ertrinke in der erstickten hoffunung meiner selbst

  • skinny puppy is the shit hell yeah

  • i loved being there in Vancouver BC at the Luvaffair club where the band filmed these video's in the 80's and i know cause i was there, still goth to the end and an ex DJ. oh ya luvaffair the club is still there to this day. Greatist vancouver band ever well Images in Vogue were good too also from Vancouver.

  • so I was watching this Doc on horror films and they showed the one that it is sampled in this song "the world is a hell. . . " line. I forgot what it was called. Does anyone know what the name of that movie is?

  • New FHU Release and Video:

    youtube.com/watch?v=eSyqtzwrCJg

  • Music at it's best, one of the industrial genre's most classic anthems of ferocious frustrated alienation.

  • I'm SO glad I was around at the industrial music revolution...when a few clubs had the balls to play music this visceral...and we shoe-gazed till the sun chased us home.....Thanks for the reality check Skinny Puppy. Here's to all of us that don't mind walking a path less illuminated.

  • It's weird to think that my dad used to listen to them and now I am too. c: good music never dies

  • This and Ministry was quality music!

  • This and Ministry was quality music!

  • skinny puppy no fucking doubt about it....straight epic goodness....todays mainstream music needs to take a lesson and just go ahead and take a fucking dirt nap..........

  • @xylemxorro Lets forgo the lesson (it would be lost on the sheep) and scare the fuck outta the locals. Make mine SKINNY.

  • Now THIS is the shit right here!

  • And on the 7th day, God created Skinny Puppy, and the world became a better place. We all love you Ogre wherever you are.

  • Thank you for this post. I was in a band "back in the day" that covered this song. The other band that we opened for got pissed because we packed the dance floor with this song and the sound engineers worked the lights hard. By comparison, their show was a joke. They did NOT appreciate being up-staged. :) oops!

  • btw, long live puppy!! awesome band

  • NICE ONE.

  • In my english class today, we had to submit song lyrics to analysis in class, I picked this song....and we got to analyze it :). People hated the song but they can fuck off, it was mostly the dumbass jocks.

  • @connorgow sounds similar to what i done. expect i done a speech on marilyn manson back in 1997. before his sell out days. but anyways. the speech was five minutes long and while i was talking about him n shit, i had antichrist superstar playin in the back-ground. the teacher said i would have aced the speech, but i threw in inappriate material and gave me a b minus instead. the jocks fucking hated it. and thats what the class was made of. jocks, preps, cheerleaders. fuck 'em.

  • @connorgow I love how you call jocks dumbasses because they have different opinions.

    Makes TOTAL sense...

  • @EnteiFled it does, considering they are mindless idiots who have dirt for opinions. ive met some intelligent jocks, but most are knuckle dragging idiots who think brute strength and knowledge of sport statistics and being with the "in" crowd can get you places....then they go to college and realize "oh shit, maybe i shouldnt have BSed my way through HS"

  • @hellchild65 The fact that their opinions are different that your's doesn't make them "dirt".

Sports can get scholarships and many other useful things later in life.

Being social enough to get in the "in" crowd can do the exact same thing,it actually takes a lot of work.

    Whatever,though.

  • sports are useless aside from a good fun activity on the side, the fact that some big tall dude that can throw a ball in a net gets paided millions more then people who actually do things relevent in life (militrary or food or car work for ex) is sickening. and its not "being social" either, anyone can get along with anyone if they try, really. i dont need to be popular in HS to make bigbucks latter in life, and it sure as hell doesnt help, its more helpful to be on good terms with faculty tbh.

  • @hellchild65

Yeah, jocks should all go back to there Justin and Britney conformist lives...

  • @beowulven

    their...

  • @hellchild65 And this relates to the video, how??

  • @405manda conversation with soemone in the comments, it turned to HS and sports somehow

  • @hellchild65

people in the entertainment industry get paid more, like a sports player because of how many lives they touch, same as politics, it's all about influence

  • @hellchild65 There's a very slim percentage of the population that's paid to play sports. They go through hell training and auditioning for these privately owned teams. They're required to follow strict codes of conduct and can lose those millions if black listed and dropped from a team.

  • @myloveispuke awww, poor baby sports players, they have tough training and have to follow rules/sarcasm.... you know who has to go through much more difficult training and can actual get killed on their "job" but do a shitload more for us? people in the service. i think they deserve to be set up for life instead of some sports player considering they are willing to take a bullet or get there arm blown off for their cause/nation. please dont build these sports guys up as heroes, they are not.

  • @hellchild65

    >implying people in the service aren't looked after

Sports teams are privately owned, you want to tell others where to spend their money?

  • @myloveispuke no, but id like to see the money payed out to the players via contracts pretty much cut to nothing

  • @hellchild65 well then you're a jealous loser.

  • @myloveispuke and they are spoiled children, trying to justify them making so much shows how much of an idiot you are

  • @hellchild65 *sigh* I know you've had some kind of emotional damage being held over toilets in highschool but don't bash the "Cool kids". Nivek Ogre is paid in the exact same way an athlete is paid. As an entertainer, by a private investor.

  • @myloveispuke i never hated anyone or was picked on after grade school lol, life in HS isnt the damn breakfast club and bashing professional sports player has nothing to do with bball or football players in HS. and no, your argument is void for SP, they dont sell out stadiums of 10000 people, they are an underground/cult band, no doubt Ogre and Key have a decent amount of money, but they are no mulit millionaires, dont kind yourself

  • @hellchild65 Omg you pig, SP are paid to entertain, professional athletes are paid to entertain. Both recive money from private investors and the fans themselves. I'm sorry that people in the "Service" aren't paid very well but by comparison there is a lot more of them then there are entertainers. If you paid them the same amount there would really be no money left in the world. You are ignorant and wrong, and I can't help you.

  • @myloveispuke not really, they are pretty independent, and they dont sell millions of records like Metallica or Marilyn Manson, and they dont attract crowds of tens of thousands like those mentioned and other mainstream artists, thus they dont make millions....your calling me an idiot, yet, what you are saying is like going to a professional place like, idk, the Marriott, then going to McDonalds and yelling at the cooks and saying "you fools why cant you cook a gourmet meal!"

  • @hellchild65 no you...that analogy is completely false. The point is whether or not they make millions or thousands they make money the same way as one another. It's also nice to see you couldn't comment on your moronic view on budgeting the military. An skinny puppy would make a lot more if they didn't band heroin up their arms all the time and allow their careers to take a dive at their peek.

  • military budget in the US is different issue. you think SP spent all their money on heroin? wow, you have any idea how many groups have done drugs just as long if not longer then SP and still have loads of money? wow...just stop talking before you continue to look like an idiot. skinny puppy never had a "peak" so to speak. please dont blame musicians struggling on their use of drugs, especially considering skinny puppy did heroin from about 89-96, thats not that bad at all compared to others...

  • @hellchild65 No, don't muddle the issue. You stated that professional athletes should allocate their money to servicemen. That's faulty as the number of servicemen is far greater than the amount of professional athletes. Both musicians and athletes are entertainers and are paid the same way and in some cases by the same people. You're an ignorant young person, and I can't help you.

  • @myloveispuke i never said the same amount should be paid to each individual servicemen and women (and if i misspelled and did say that, my apologies), i said they make so little compared to people who do useless things like sports, which, as stated originally, is useless aside form a fun activity on the side.

  • @hellchild65 Yes but the point i made was:

one is paid privately, one is paid federally.

  • @hellchild65 I believe in the complete man. Spiritual, mental and physical exercise should all interlock as pieces of the same daily renewal of oneself. Physicality teaches discipline that can be applied to the life of the mind.

As for rich sports players... Excellence should be rewarded. I agree that there should be greater rewards for scientists, artists, writers, etc. The solution? Consumer demand.

Start wearing shirts with Fermi or Feynmann rather than jerseys. Spread the intellectual love

  • @connorgow ~>>Too bad they bashed on how it sounds, rather than understand the lyrics....they could've learned something, and maybe this could've changed a little bit of their out-look in life...

    ....just a thought. :3

  • I'm sorry but why are we talking about Gaga?

This is a Skinny puppy video.. Yeah Gaga is

a fan but who really cares? I'm sure there are

plenty other Celebrity Skinny pup fans out there,

so why single her out(Maybe to prove she's edgier than

    other Pop-stars)? Lol,Any-who... This song

    is amazing.

  • I saw Skinny puppy back in the day like 88 89 at the Hollywood Pladium, What a show like a bad dream, everybody there was dressed freaky it was a show i will never forget, I also saw them again in 92 93 in Hawaii and again awsome show, i think they were ahead of their time, If you ever saw them in concert you would never forgot that trippy night.

  • The vocals were a pleasant surprise. Very interesting music.

  • The world is a hell what does it matter what happens in it

  • 36 people don't know it's wrong.

  • This song Fucking Rules.

  • What's Lady Gaga have to do with Skinny Puppy? I went to see Lady Gaga in September, and I have Skinny Puppy's logo tattooed on my leg. Folks shouldn't judge, cuz often times you're gonna find yourself wrong.

  • @snhagood idk why you would, unless your gf/wife wanted to go. she really is aweful, and her music is just bland electro-pop

  • @hellchild65 No I wanted to go, I like all sorts of music honestly. My iPod is schizo :-)

  • @snhagood

I'm guessing it wasn't your idea to go to a Gaga show, huh?

  • @AlmightyScubba I like Gaga! Is that hard to believe because I also like Skinny Puppy? Any music that moves me in any way I'm a fan of. Last night I was at karaoke hearing a guy sing Ne Yo, right now I'm listening to Throbbing Gristle hahaha :-)

  • @snhagood

    I just re-read your post, i misunderstood.

  • @AlmightyScubba Not a prob :-)

  • @snhagood I forgot about Throbbing Gristle. Thanks for the reminder. Next search...

  • @ChesterLoadstone Haha awesome! :-) Welcome

  • So beautiful... makes me cry.... Try dance this and feel the industrial beat of your heart.

  • It's weird how they were so before their time. I've listened to them since 1986 and tunes I couldn't stand back then, suddenly becomes magic today. They're fucking awesome!

  • @heytherecockboy That's because the kind of music being made today takes ZERO talent to make. Makes you realize how good even the crappy tunes are compared to what's being put out today.

  • I Love Skinny Puppy <3

  • This is SKINNY PUPPY for fuck sake. Why Gaga talk? Next it beiber or wtfe...

  • @toriinprogress CUNT

  • i hate puppies ..but gotta love skinny puppy :D <3

Also, his look here in the video is the best. Best hair evr.

  • 33 dislikes?? WTF? I dont get it. WHY?

  • @hellsunderground83 Unbelievable, innit ???

  • Personally I prefer the ministry cover. Ogre still sings it but it's faster and pumps me up.

  • "World's biggest hair, world's tightest pants, got no circulation but you still can dance..."

  • Their hair used to be so crazy, now their hair is normal but they started doing wierd things to their face. Damn I love this band

  • SP were AND STILL ARE the best in their own purgatory.......I'm there!!!

  • What does BRAP mean?

  • @ninmachine109 Brapping is basically jamming away in the studio with electronic kit with no predetermined plans, just playing away until something good happens :) amphetamine is good for this!

  • This is how we rolled...

  • @ahab2607 your just jealous that no woman would ever think that about you. your a dork,

  • Numbers in Houston late 80's early 90's this dance floor would get flooded by people when this song was played.

  • ogre is always so hot covered in fake blood i wish i was watching live now getting splattered with his fake blood

  • @autumnlynxrose your a dork

  • Do you know how they came up with the name Skinny Puppy?

  • @Blendre

it's about looking at the world through the eyes of one

  • @Blendre I don't really know but my guess is that starving puppies are depressing and neglected.

  • I love you Skinny Puppy and always will

  • Skinny Rules

  • I love this Video and song!! I love dancing my ass off to it anywhere I hear it!

  • skinny rules!!!!!

  • That's cool how he dances across the stage with his hairdo,

and then he gets all raspy...I like that a great deal...I would like to do that

  • @AJtheory i second that.

  • great song, their best album. all the best music comes from mid 80s period imo... shame I wasn't around then. I don't dig their new stuff as much I must admit.

p.s. for long time I thought main refrain goes "lashes up and down", lol, my rotten imagination

  • Pavi Largo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
