  • This guy is on crack!!!!!!

  • superb video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • Nice video I am going to add it to my detailing properly video thread in Modded Mustangs.com for the guys to see how to wash properly via TBM. I also see your using the Peaks Premium Ultra Plush Drying Microfiber. Its a great microfiber and for the price it really cant be beat. Danny from DB.

  • These guys are hardcore about cleaning. The way I like it!

  • who the fuck cares its an s2000

maybe if it was a lamborghini or ferrari.

  • that was a big microfiber towel you used for drying the car

  • ya couldve got the car a lil dirty before, looks the same as before the wash

  • car was already clean

  • I need to get me some 5 bucket gallons!

  • I dont know where to find a five bucket gallon haha

  • Where can i buy a grit gaurd?

  • Nice video! You didn't mention cleaning the wheels and inside the doors. Big part of a clean car.

  • Is that Dodo Juice Born to be Mild shampoo?

  • haha couldn't find any of those "typical" 5 bucket gallons

  • Heh, funny. 5 bucket gallon. I do that too. I will will patiently wait for more videos.

  • wow i've been washing my very expensive car all wrong!

  • The foam gun we use is a unit from Autogeek.com made for a pressure washer. It works awesome, but is a little pricy. Worth it IMO if you have a nice black car or wash frequently. Not necessary, but makes washing even more fun. Search our threads on autopia.org for pics of the foam gun in action. We probably mention it a lot in our threads.

And about the tags, you are right! Always remove tags!

  • Wow, I'm humbled! Thank you all for the comments!

The drying towel I found at a Western Auto store while in PR. They were on special. They looked very thick and fluffy, and though why not try them. I washed them a few times before using them to make sure they would not leave lint, and they were good to go. I don't remember the brand, will have to look when I'm back in PR.

  • @autolavish Hi Jacob. Really enjoy your videos on proper car care techniques, please keep up the excellent work! I have a question - how did you wash the drying towel before initial use? Was it a microfiber waffle weave? What method did you use to was them?

    Best regards,

    Jason

  • Thanks man. I appreciate the time put into this video. I learned a lot and am prepared to properly wash my car.

  • always take the tags off, RIPPPPPPPPPP

  • hey what a foam gun??

  • @roadhouse48 what about a foam gun???

  • great advice..... thanks !

  • i think this is the best method i've ever seen! thank you guys!

  • where can I buy that microfiber drying towel? Looks awesome!

  • Thank you very much for these videos very helpful.. make more!

  • Great video on showing people about the 2 bucket method. I would of never though about just dripping the suds of the car to do a foam process, but i have a foam lance anyways but its a good backup in case i don't have my lance. and that s2000 had a pretty nice layer of wax on it judging by the beading action on that hood. great video.

  • Dang, this guy is thorough. I'd let him clean my car anytime =)

  • requires skill

  • That S2000 looks absolutely amazing, nice vid aswell.

  • Thank you guys!

  • wouldnt polish with sunglasses on though!!

  • @boyracernbr1 The sunglasses are a MUST! Working in the tropics and looking in the suns reflection for defects is terrible for the eyes! I have a pair of Cat 5 welding glasses that fit like sunglasses. I use them when polishing and inspecting using high powered LED lights. In these videos the cameras have UV filters, which makes it look not as bright as the day actually was. Sunglasses FTW!

  • good to see people using DoDo!

  • nice car :)

  • great

  • Thank you!

  • you have really good videos man , 5stars
