I love that last scene in the movie, where she turns around. It is so moving on so many emotional levels. He still longs for the past in his old age. And he made it up in his mind that he'd go to her if she turned, and she didn't turn because she knew he'd be there. And when they talked about it, it was in fun. I just loved this movie. He's still dreaming about her by the lighthouse. It's so damn sweet is what it is.
