(cont.) cant ever take modern musicians seriously as they would take Idk Ralph Waldo Emerson or somebody. Because its like the music of our generation is supposed to be "hip" and "cool". Dont get me wrong, nothings wrong with that, its fun and creative. I like Nicki Minaj because of that. But it only becomes a problem when people start associating rap with purely that. It's like my mind doesnt really listen to words when I hear rap, more so the "beat"....so an artist like this I think can only

Who was the poet speaking in the robot voice in the beginning and the end? Also, I think the reason not many artists like this ever really seem to reach any one is because the medium is through rap. It's lie pop art. No one is ever going to take Lady Gaga seriosuly because her medium is pop. But actually a recent video of hers "born this way" was quite profound in the beginning. I looked @ all the yt comments & all ppl had to say was "that was weird" or "that was cool" Thats why I think ppl
