i agree that the quality of ray-ban glasses is nowhere what it used to be, but if you were to buy a cheap pair of glasses from the kiosk in the middle of the mall, they would barely last you a month. the protection of a high dollar pair of sun glasses is much greater, and they just appeal more. i still have my VINTAGE wayfarer II and they were made in 1967. how about you show me a forty-year-old pair of glasses that only cost you 10 bucks at the "mall kiosk"
