YEah thats right knitting and WAY too much music. Also I guess there were afraid to teach sex ed. Another thing I noticed was that we didnt use ANY electronics and there was only one DONATED 1990 macintosh computer which was located in the office. Plus we had WAY to much recess and get this we also had a GAMES CLASS. A GAMES CLASS???? just some extra recess for the kiddies. Maybe you should call the school city of lakes recess faire school for children who want to be treated like babies

  • Oh and not to mention

I needed to go to summer school and get a tutor right after I left. Also my firend who moved to my MPLS school a year later after I did need to repeat a grade because waldorfs standards were so low

And This is MY opinion on the school you might have one where you think its such a great school and its taught me so much! but to me, honestly I think you were all brainwashed at that school.

    see ya

  • sweeeeeeeeeeet i went to Michael park waldorf school in New Zealand. and been to 5 others around the world. best damn curriculum created

  • i am about to go into 8th grade at this school and i love it.

  • did u go to the city of lakes?!

  • ummm kinda wierd dancing around a poll

  • Is this a K-8 Waldorf school? I assume so by what I see, but I can't really tell..

  • Yes. It is a K-8 school. I am a current 8th grader who goes there. It really is a great school=]

  • You like the Waldorf method? I'm glad. Many Waldorf students don't really value the amazing education and opportunities offered through a Waldorf school until they leave. SO my advice to you is to cherish the time you spend at City of Lakes, because you will miss it some day. I attended a Waldorf school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I want to become a Waldorf teacher. Perhaps I should visit CLWS (is that the abbreviation?)

  • Yeah that would be neat. My class is the one singing Ishe Oluwa(spelling)

    My cousins live in Milwaukee!

    Yes the abbreviation is CLWS.

  • Is CLWS the only Waldorf school in Minneapolis?

  • No. There's MWS And Spring Hill.
