@1997FordProbeGT I know it sucks and I know I change my oil every two months, but it's all I can afford. I know the better known oils are a longer lasting investment, but I drive a tired old 77 ford pickup so changing my oil isn't too much of a chore. Going to college really limits your funds.
stock you? hardly, I come on here to forget about all the bull shittin fools like you. The only time I talk to your ebuddies is when they come cursing me out cause they feel sorry for you and dont like to see someone get the blunt truth, that is so emotionally fragile.
I would like to thank krankiev for staying on topic, i hate to have this dirty laundry on here but Im just saying it like it is
Adult bullying a kid...I would say you fail very hard. There's nothing more pussified you could possibly do than an adult bullying a kid or a man hitting a woman.
I completely agree, accept the part about me failing hard, I made this account long ago so I could watch vids without getting asked for the age confirmation everytime, panasonic was the brand of the cd player i was listening to at the time, I put in a random age.
I call em like I see em, everything I ever said about you was true, never made up.
Smarter than me? try composing a proper sentence, and maybe I'll take you seriously.
Dont reply to comments of mine that are not directed at you if ya cant take the heat, calling me names just shows you have nothing to say, its all true crawl back in your hole and stay out the hell out of my life please. You are worse then a soap opera.
We meet again cocksucka'. Why don't you finish sucking that nigger dick that you just had in you're mouth instead of talking shit? Are you that dumb that you can't even realize that you randomly speak about Brian but yet you tell him to stay out of you're life? You must have no life of you're own and must be so dissatisfied with you're own self that you talk trash on a kid online randomly then tell him to stop bothering you? Talk about a hypocrite...
He just attacked me on a month old comment that was video related, he quoted him. Does he really need his boyfriend to come back him up? my god were making a mockery of the comments section of a good video, congrats ladies. And sorry craig...
Look at you're immaturity and insecurity about yourself. So you just said that Brian isn't getting anywhere by calling names. Ok, why did you just call me his boyfriend? You are a sick, fucked in the head piece of shit. I'm 38 and married with two children. I will defend any of my friends to my death. You don't know what a "friend" is because you don't have one, but you must be interested in men because the first thing that pops in you're mind is "boyfriend". GTFO faggit.
Settle down I said that because I knew it would get you all wound up, it would me too. If your seriously that old, please tend to your family or get an outdoor activity. fighting about this kid on the net, let alone to THE DEATH is not worth it, I laughed at one point at all this but its now getting nasty, good health to you and your family, if this in not fiction from your comments you dont seem 38, talking about dicks and gay stuff yourself, maybe you have some curiosity, keep it off yt sicko
"Why don't you finish sucking that nigger dick that you just had in you're mouth instead of talking shit?"
Was that not what you first said to me? sounds like some racist SICK shit to me...
Get "Brian" some help, he could sure use it, im suprised someone didnt have the steam to track him down and call in his suicide update, surely a man of 38 knows that is not healthy. I honestly feel bad for him living with a mental hinderence, its horrible im sure.
maybe he has experienced that pennzoil cleans a little more? cut him a little slack dude, unless you have a way to prove that what he says is completely wrong?
This Panasonic guy isn't a mechanic he a moron. I've worked in the mechanic field for DaimlerChrysler for a while. The myth that all motor oils are equal is a pile of the biggest shit in the world. As Brian said, certain engines like certain oils. I recommended that Brian switch to Pennzoil from Valvoline...when we had sludged up 2.7L V6s comin' in to the dealer i always asked the owner what oil they used. The ones that said they used Pennzoil always had the most miles on the odometer.
Even though they were all 2.7L's doesnt mean they wil sludge up evenly, but regardless, we are talking about mineral oils, conventional, you know from the ground?, man made synthetics are a whole different ball game.
filters for german and japanese vehicles aren't ever cheap. I'd imagine that the purolator equivalent to a FL-1A would be less than 10 bucks.. if it was over 5 bucks I wouldn't buy one.. since I know the motorcraft is a great filter for less money.
Valvoline seems to have a lot of cleaning power, at least that's my experience with it. Add MMO like I usually do, and it really cleans like crazy!
Also Napa oil is just bout the same thing made by the same company but it costs significantly less. I got some on sale for 1.69 a quart last spring and I still have half of it. My dad's old escort ran nearly 100K miles using mostly just Napa oil, and still runs fine, but the road salt has taken its toll on the underside of the car. :\
@1997TimingBeltGT Are you still puttin around here?....wow good job not killing yourself like 3 times I couldnt handle your drama after that.
Seriously its evident to most you know barely shit all and just regurgitate others facts and opinions, you have no experience, have you done oil analysis tests or had some sent in? Fuck no, owned a car for any significant amount of time to realize a dif?, hardly.
I sympathize for you because your so sad, but you keep coming back for more.....
oh also, what would you expect to pay for a big purolator filter? I haven't bought one in ages.
the FL-1A for my truck is $3.49 at walmart, and a superb quality filter. The Napa gold (I think the number is 1516) is around 6 or 7 bucks and is about the same inside as the motorcraft.
I have never noticed oil make a n engine run differently, but I suppose it can happen pretty easily in modern engines.
my take is, why use that oil wen a 5 quart jug of Valvoline is only 3 bucks more than a 5 quart jug of supertech. at least you can trust that you know you have a good oil with valvoline. who the hell really knows with that walmart shit..
oh, right thanks, I completely forgot about Purolator. I've used them. Never cut one open though. I do know Motorcraft filters are excellent though, that's all I will use on my truck.
if one is to use synthetic it should be used right from the moment the engine is broken and then on, otherwise it can cause many different problems. Engines that use synthetic oil right from the start like that usually do well. I like synthetic blend myself. but i can't use it in my old truck..
1997FordProbeGT knows nothing. I wouldnt let him maintain my bicycle let alone take mechanical advice from him.
some things to add
-You are right about conventional oil, it all comes out of the same pipe, same place, but some companys do have more additives, put your money into the filter rather than the fancy bottle the oil is in.
- You recommended to change the filter with the oil, this is crucial, do not neglect.
all good tips. never buy a crappy filter like a Fram. Napa gold and motorcraft filters seem to be the best filters. I have cut apart several brands and they've been the best inside. I would imagine that mopar and AC delco filters are good too.
I would stand by Napa oil and *maybe* advance auto oil. They wouldn't put their name on a bad product.
I run K&N on my vehicles because Im paranoid and have seen bad things. Better flow, good filter media, thicker canister walls for durability (especailly for offroad)
....And yes fram is crap, it is made by Honeywell they make humidifiers and crap, they also make "defense" auto filters which are the same fram garbage minus the orange paint, stay away at all costs.
As for oil I buy what ever brand is on sale for $12 a jug at crappy tire, Pennzoil/Quakerstate, Castrol GTX, even house oil.
i use Napa auto parts oil and valvoline, valvoline is pretty cheap at walmart, only 3 bucks more per 5 quart jug than their cheapest oil. I also add marvel mystery oil to my engines to keep them clean inside, and it works very well.
K&N filters work great but in vehicles like my dad's 1003 Mercury, for some reason the owner's manual says to never use oil impregnated air filters. I couldn't tell you why but it says that, but it does. I would say Motorcraft would be great for it though, after all it is original equipment..
I use supertech (walmart) oil and i have had absolutely no trouble with it. I fill the truck with oil when i change it, and keep a bottle behind the seat because she burns a little.
You may find that if you switch to valvoline it might stop burning oil. That's what happened with my stuff, I used to use walmart oil but my stuff consumed oil and smoked. I switched to valvoline/napa oil and it stopped completely on some engines and it reduced on the ones that were oil burners anyway. cheap oil has a low flashpoint and burns off the cylinder wall.
Besides when comparing 5 quart bottles, the valvoline is only 3 dollars more than the walmart oil, and that way you know what it is
Craig I have to agree with you about the brand name of oils. In my opinion your exactly right. The only different in name brand oil and cheap oil is the name....Your paying for the name not the quaility of the oil. Also I have been told that you should use the same name brand and weight oil doing your oil changes. I don't know if this matters but the most important part is to change it every 3000 miles and the filter. great video my Wisconsin brother :) Take care
That is a VERY dangerous statement you just made there, cheap oil may be fine for a daily driver but tends to produce alot of "sludge" which over time builds up in motors and can block galleries and cause all sorts of problems, Most cheap oils are mineral based and alot are RECYCLED oil, A cheap oil will break down very quickly and cause alot more damage in high performance motors. There is a lot involved in motor oil production i havent even scraped the surface.
Well by no means am I an expert on motor oil. I am simply stating what I have been told by others and from personal experience. I do believe what you say. I had a 2001 Dodge Intrepid with a 2.7 ltr engine....Even a Dodge dealership told me to use pure synthetic oil in it due to small oil ports in the engine which using cheap non-synthetic oil would cause ports to get blocked by sludge and cause failure. Thanks for the insite. I will keep in mind the quality of oil before I open my trap again
u put some cheap engine oil in it.

yeah some manufacturers dont recommend oiled air filters on certain engines for flow reasons and such. I was referring to their line of oil filters.
