i just learned the song but my timing sucks ): can someone recommend how i can improve or even understand timing any lessons on here you recommend or tips would be greatly appreciated thanks
Thanks for posting this! I have been asked to learn this to sing with some friends of mine...I have something to practice to...I play guitar too so this is really a big help! Wonderful job....Orionchannel2010 has some vids of my local musicians and me singing the blues....love it...Peace...
AWESOME, I will be jamming on this, till I'm positive my neighbors will be SICK of hearing it. Thanks For posting this. One of my all time favorites. I play a minor scale and feel like Jimmy Page! Merry Christmas!
@propolispills Yes C pentatonic works...but try playing with F phrygian coupled with the D# Ionian, and you can get a jazzy feel... I like playing that at least. I also like to throw in C harmonic minor with some chromatics to give it that little "kick"... It is a great song to learn how to "feel" the scales and really great practice.
im a beginner and i was just wandering, when ur improvising over this how would you know wen the play the "chorus" or you know that riff that comes in in the middle and also when to start and end the solo. thanks :)
You've done pretty good here considering... but what would be good, is if you added a screen note where the solo is for instance. Because when you click back it's sometimes hard to tell what part you're in. This is a very human song in as much as it moves back and forward in timing throughout and in the solo I find myself having to stagger to compensate for the rigidity of the drum machine. But pretty good man!
Ya I agree, but this is still sick I've been jamming to it for like 3 hours every night trying to come up with the perfect improv cover. If you like TSRTS version you should go check my vid out and tell me what you think. I learned it by ear so please dont be too picky.
p.s if you could give some pointers it would be mostly appreciated. =D
Is this tempo a little faster than the original version? Or, is it just me? This is the hardest song I've ever tried to leard as far as timing goes. Thanks for the track Brother.
Solo players should start at 3.27

@andy123456789A C i think
mikemurphy1994 1 year ago
@andy123456789A key is C, uses mostly Eb major scales resolving on the C (I forget what that mode is called)
minor pentatonic C works too, but they're kinda boring

The only problem I have is that the pauses after the solo ("All my tears they fell like rain") are way to long.

Yeah it's sick. I've shortened them myself (used Freecorder, then Audacity), planning on using either this or Stairway to do a performance.

I have a Stairway backing track with vocals its sick.
