Mine hates mealworms but loves the Beatles that they turn into. Put the mealworms in some oatmeal, give a carrot or veggie every few days. They eventually turn into beatles. You can save some of the beatles to breed new mealworms and then you always have beatles around. The beatles don't climb so they can be kept in an open tupperware. My Savannah, Fluffy, thinks they are an awesome crunchy treat.
Mine was like that to, but when I raised the humidity he became more active (my humidity was fine before 60-70%) now its 75-80% wich he much more prefers, also i mist the sav himself, he really enjoys it

My savannah monitor is a baby 7-8 inches, he refuses to eat crickets and only eats meal worms and pinkies, is that bad?
