Mango seems to be saying two different things here. On the one hand, don't be gay = don't rely on other people's mistakes. Yet, he's saying here that he gets in their face, but zones them out to mess them up. It sounds, like he's saying, Don't Bait, but Bait. And Armada kinda does the same thing, really. I felt so sorry for Mango when I heard the last 2 minutes of him talking about people gloating over him losing and not caring about his victories being the reason for him not doing so well. Originally, I thought he didn't care anymore or alcohol messed him up.

Mango, don't acknowledge people's negative comments towards you. Just ignore them and pay attention to those that matter instead: your fans. Haters will be haters, but major fans such as myself among others are always rooting for you.

so the truth comes out of why he sandbags, and he has a good and valid point too. why would he continue to try to win in a community that didn't value his wins? and the fact is that mango doesn't win for the money, he wins for the cheers, and when those cheers don't come, it's easy to see why he would choose to stop winning as a whole in order to build that hype back. these podcasts are legit, so many long standing questions answered.

As much as he might sound like some run-of-the-mill Cali kid, the points he un-eloquently made were very smart and is a core reason why he's stayed on top of his game for so long. If you watch his matches he never sticks to one playstyle, adjusts himself once he makes a mistake, and will intimidate his opponents offensively regardless of percentage or "logic". It makes him less hard to read while making his opponents behave more predictably.

The dude is basically using Bruce Lee's mindset.
