People have the gift of prophecy.... 13:8 is not saying that we shouldn't have propehecies. If you move a little further in the text, 14:5 of 1Corinthians in which Paul is talking to followers of Christ tells us that we should prophecy. In order to do that of course, we have to be of faith and really get right with God.

So true Blair! My grandfather never slammed the door in their face, but invited them in. He talked to them for hours. Instead of them witnessing to him, it was the other the way around. The funny thing is they didn't realize before they knocked on his door, they was knocking on the door of a baptist preacher. I understand he converted a few. I pray you did to Blair. this video reminds me of when i had to minister to a guy who was a mason! for a while i had done research on masonry and other secret societies of the like, not knowing that the knowledge was not only for me but for someone else. he was so astounded by the things i told him, and the things i knew...some of the things he didn't even know. so i believe it when u said the lady told u they never learned that....ppl are going into these orgs. blind! but thank God we know the truth!

I always remembered a scripture when i was a kid and the gist of it went " neither the day or the hour nobody knows, no man. angel nor son, only the father.
But it does seem strange that they set dates, it clearly states in mark 13 :32 only the father knows.

@MrKattt They would have no case. Besides aren't they supposed to never listen to that? I'm pretty sure part of their rules is that they aren't allowed to look into evidence against what they believe.

Ive witnessed to mormons.They knock and I tell them.They think God doesnt speak to us but I told them otherwise.THey think that Joseph made the real church but in reality we are the church.They tried to mock the idea about me being a part of the church.
