Watching that girl with her gun already shouldered was making me really nervous, man. Leads me to believe the safety was already off? What if she tripped and shot the dog? Not a good way to teach gun safety to a junior.

I was actually saying the same thing to myself before I read your comment. I've only been bird hunting for half a year (since I got my hunting license) and even I knew that you don't mount or take the safety off until the bird is live.
