Aren't you suppose to make the barbells touch at the top and aren't they suppose to stay horizontal (parallel to the ground)? I've been taught that not following those two requirements meant=bad form which means that you are using weight that are way too heavy for you.

@Jerrush1 150 total in dumbbells does not equal to anywhere near 150 on the bar. Your supposed to push less in dumbells. dumbells are a fairly narrow grip if u look at it plus its more isolated. Its either you havnt worked on your bench press very much or your form is off

These are free weights, not fixed weights on a bar....With Dumbell press you have to keep the weights from sliding off to the side, back and front...To answer your question. If this guy can DB Press 115 he could probably Bench Press more than the total witch is 230.. :D

Natural btw at a weight of 275 at 5 ft 10. Ive been training off and on for 20 years. if i'm doing dumbbell presses and i choose not to bring the dumbbells together at full extension am I doing it wrong? at the moment I'm doing the presses with the dumbbells more spread out from each other, as if i was using a barbell. 100 lbs is my goal, im just over half way, LONG WAY TO GO.
