  • Now, that helped with adding but none of the questions ask for adding.... I need subtraction

And if it's not done teacher calls home and my dad will KEEL me! I'm fucked T_T

  • Thank you!!!!!!

  • So how do you get 6/12 - 4/7 that equals -1/14? for example most times your subtracting fractions like say 6/9 - 3/5=1/15 however there is no negative sign before the answer this time like there is in the first equation.

  • Thanks, this really helped.

  • That helped a lot thanks! Anyone notice the video skipped 4:38 and went straight to 4:39

  • @NittoNba44 glad to help, let me know if you ever need any specific help in math

  • @shaunteaches yes sir. thank you for the reply

  • Wow shaun- Lots of views!!!

  • @pencilsandcrayonz its pretty exciting

  • What if i had like: 2 3/5 + 4 2/4

  • @laxpro789 do you mean if we had negative mixed numbers? or do you want to discuss how to add positive mixed numbers? let me know and I will make sure I have a video response

  • your writing is too messy to read so i couldn't learn anything.

  • @oceanwave322 sorry about that, but sometimes I don't have a desk to work with

  • this vid help me thank you :)

  • @THEKINGGAMER101 thanks for the comment!

  • If it is a whole number you add a one as the denominator like 20 + 3/5 would be 20/1+ 3/5 get it

  • What if there are whole numbers so does change anything

  • Oh I get itttt...Thank you :):)

  • @tatys1o93 glad to help, let me know if you have any other questions

  • wat if the other one is proper and improper fraction with a negative?

  • @re4gamez If we had -5/3 + 4/3, this would be the same as (-5+4)/3 = -1/4

so the order wouldn't matter. You could just add the numerators and set one as negative(or both depending on the problem). Does that answer your question?

  • @shaunteaches so it's the same rules as regular fractions...ok I get it thanks!

  • is it only a +5 over the 12 because you have to take the sign of the bigger number ?

  • @neaknmike08 yes, +8 has a larger absolute value (further from 0 or bigger) than -3, so the answer has to be a positive number. You can also think of 8 + -3 as 8 - +3 or 8 - 3

  • Great tutorial this REALLY helped :)

  • @neaknmike08 thanks

  • Oh my god u totally saved my life! I will subscribe!
