an easier way to put the tire and tube on the wheel is to inflate the tube a little bit and put the tube inside the tire then put it on the rim. thats what i do. its alot quicker

it amazing but the tektro brakes ruin it. always seem to come apart or get broken at the wrong time. but other than that nice bike im glad your son has an interest in bmx. its a very good sport that will teach alot of things to him and will be very good for him to stay fit and healthy. 5 stars

I don't push my son at all...we race when he wants to race and that is all. He started riding a two-wheeled bike at age 2 and the natural progression was for him to ride bikes. But thanks for your worldly advice...I am sure you came across this wisdom in your 21 years of life

@RemingtonNut That isn't even a mountain bike, its a racing 24". those aren't crap, they are usually made from full 6061 aluminum. and BMX is not technically locked to 20inch. 24 inch bikes without suspension can be considered bmx as well, just ignorant people who only ride street bmx like to reject the value of racing 24"s

nice bike. looks like my cousins only his is all light blue with the same seat oly in blue. nice look overall as well. i just started racing about two weeks ago and have enjoyed it so far. just got home form the texas state qualifier race. i just race my freestyle bike because i dont want to spend too much money until i get into it.

Thank you...he does now have "clip pedals"...they are called Speedplay Frogs. ANd the seat can be obtained from Seattle Bike works...it weighs less than 3.5 oz WITH the seat post.
