Hello trip don't get the tablet. It can not meet your needs they don't have the real time rendering touch and sound and video capabilities of the iOS get an iPod touch or iPad 2 if ur going to buy something an iPad can become a midi a synth entire mobile DAW a dj it has it all the latency on those tablets will make u want to throw it out the window it takes 10-20 seconds for it to load the home screen can't imagine trying to make music or control ableton with those droids they suck

thnx man, btw you can use quicktime to capture your screen, dont need a fancy soft to do that :D

@thedogrush Quicktime works however you have to do such a weird routing in order to capture the computer sound so it's way easier to use another screen recoding app such as ScreenFlow (:

Então cara, na verdade eu não sei como usar OSC em windows. Da uma olhada no site do TouchOSC. Mas mesmo em mac os controles OSC podem ser recebidos via PureData, MaxMSP, Osculator, Reaktor ou qlqr outro receptor de OSC.

Hi there, I'm trying this with my ipod touch and an ad-hoc network setup from my mac, but touchOSC always says 'searching' when I try and set up the network. I've tried the IP address of the computer, the computer's name, the airport address, and the name of the network in the Host box but still no luck. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Yeah, the Osculator creates a "fake" midi input. You can use it with any DAW.

The only program I had some troubles using it was Traktor Pro.

One important thing, with the iphone 3g you have to turn off the 3G option in preferences to work with this.

Hi. I manage to get the Osculator and the iphone working with TouchOSC. Now I cant seem to get Ableton Live to recognize the midi message although the OSculator is enabled on the main Midi control section on ableton preferences. Track - Sync- and Remote are ON for Osculator Output, but yet no Midi Message coming to ableton. Any Ideas would help a lot!
