Time for all Americans to get together and call upon the Federal government to crack down on illegal immigration at the borders. All Americans have to provide identification when asked, so it has to be the same for illegals. America is not going to tolerate illegal immigrants anymore, especially as the economy sucks. - free health care

- free K-12 education for their anchor babies

- free food stamps for their anchor babies

- free federal welfare checks for their anchor babies

- WIC (nutrional program for babies)

- EIC (Earned Income Tax credits up to $4,200/year)

- Low income housing subsidies (Sec. 8)

We, as American citizens, deserve the right to check out each person that wants to live here with regard to their health and criminal history before allowing them to become residents. I agree with you my friend...except I think first-time offenders should have an opportunity at a later date to become citizens. Perhaps a 5 year penalty and then they can apply. If they are caught here illegally twice, then the stakes should get much higher.

@albertoyen19 where in the law does it specify that profiling is acceptable? It says nothing about national origin and specifically prohibits profiling based on national origin.

It's typical of people that are against the bill to inject racial connotations because they have no legitimate argument. It's about time We The People protect our own borders and property when the feds that are sworn to do it neglect their duties.

Next you're going to have to show your "real" birth certificate to get on the state's 2010 ballot. Looks like shit is finally rolling downhill. Obama cites possible civil rights violations from signing this bill into law. I find it funny that a sitting president that has violated every Americans civil rights when he signed the healthcare bill into law. Obama continues to threaten all Americans rights everyday yet he speaks to his uneducated supporters.
