  • O'toole was born in 1932, the movie was a 1968 release/probably mostly shot in 1967. That would make him 35 or 36

  • Katharine Hepburn is in prime form in this film. She chews this film up and spits it out. An incredible performance.

  • The Vexin is so lovely. Still craved by all.

  • John Barry!

  • "I'm going to fight for you".

    "oh fine!"

  • "Let's have one strand askew, nothing in life has any business being perfect."

    Wonderful movie.

  • Richard was 15, he looks to be to be 40 in this film

  • I always expect the chorus in Eleanor's arrival music to start singing "You cant always get what you want"

  • @Rennimagus Yes! But remember the rest of that verse: "But you can try!"

  • how old was peter when they filmed this. i doubt really 50.

  • WHY is it green? No picture,WHY????????????

  • "Hail Mary full of Grace? So this was the guy??"

  • It won't be such a dreadful thing to be queen of England. Not all eyes will weep for you.

  • is the girl in the green shawl alais?

  • Katharine Hepburn performed the best portrayal of Eleanor of Aquitaine since time immemorial

  • @AxlSeraphim88 Joanna Lumley's very good

  • Felt like singing 'we have all the time in the world' over John Barry's Eleanor Arrival theme. Still wonderful though!

  • lol he has pimples and he smells of com-post

  • I can't believe O'Toole was only 36 when this was made.

  • @KiljanArslan Hepburn is 25 years older than him...

  • @KiljanArslan His makeup is incredible. How did they get his face to look so puffy, or did he gain weight for the role?

  • Incredible movie.......1 of me favorites I might add.......interesting, I find it, that the western royals paid an alimony to have a bride taken from them vs. they pay for HER in the Mideast. And esp. in this story. Acquiring the land, and bride in castle, for John. Shes in Henry's bed all the while. LOL. Royals. ruthless, generous, naive, and manipulative at once. Til this day they have these traits. Makes no difference if they have war powers or not. They play chess w/ppls. lives.

  • @translationwiz

Its not just royals who do that, CEOs, dictators and politicians do it as well.

  • @KiljanArslan you got an amen to that.

  • actores......INCREIBLES
