  • My son wants this EXACT garbage truck for his 3rd birthday, broken and all. Do you remember where you found the perfectly-sized cardboard for the hopper? I swear, the things we do for our children. We love this video though, and watch it at least once a day!

  • @haccarnes Just made it myself that way! And the hopper section is removable if he wants to order one as they come. It's made to come apart--the cardboard part is just out of anything you can find...or what he can, perhaps

  • love this shit

  • ok i tried that and im trying to take the arm out how did you do it?

  • U should use the method I use in the Lego packer design! Just take ur Lego plate and build up a barrier to ur hieght and ur good to go!

  • What you should do is come up with a motorized compactor!

  • wait were did that big middle piece go. does it just slid off or did you have to rip it off!

  • No there's a tab that you push on it for it to remove, was made so that it could

  • kool

  • WHAT FLAVOUR MINTS?!

  • haha!

  • thanks sry for all thsese questions lol+ my mum would let me do the custem made side loader cause she would think ive broken the oringanl hopper + can you ask them if you can 6 bins lol

  • oh ok but how many days does it take to to get in aust lol

  • You'll have to ask them!

  • so trash man if you could tell me were you got your bruder from because im in aust

  • AmazonDOTcom is the best place I think

  • i would not do that because ilike the origanl hoper on the bruder asl

  • it was just an experiment, kind of...I still have the reg. hopper. (It's just nice to try something different once you get tired of the normal hopper, and I wanted something I could manual load into, so this is the result.)

  • true mate but i dont want to take that side loader thing off

  • It's made to be taken off and put back on, it's not like it's broken now or anything.

  • oh ok hay trashman thanks to your he;lp i ve got a bruder side loader its orange

  • where did you get those blue bins

  • they're cups

  • where did you get it at

  • if you mean the Bruder truck itself, you can find them anywhere on the internet (ebay, amazon, diecastdirect...)

  • it won't load the video : . (

  • same :'(

  • nice but where did u get those blue bins? are they just cups or something?

  • yeah cups lol!

  • it won't load the video :[

  • I'm wondering why about this one...several people have had problems. Maybe I'll reupload it and see if that makes things better.

  • Hi there - I would love to check this vid out..... but it will not load - any chance you can get the vid to me also??

  • I can try, what's your email?

  • BTW I cant view this vid! (Stupid wireless internet connection) Can you e-mail the file to me?

  • I'll try...

  • nvm i can view it now@ Weird when its fast i couldn't view it but now its very slow but i can view it! Weird...

  • Probably a problem on your end because it works fine here...

  • cool!

  • thats great!

i'm working on a custom compactor for my next lego garbage truck (that i will post on ToyGarbageTruck soon)

  • Cool!

  • Where did you get the black and yellow bins from?

  • A Wader truck I got rid of...it was too big. But I kept the bins! Type "wader close up" into the search engine and watch the first result...I had the same truck only different color scheme.

  • Very nice!! How did you remove the arm from the hopper because I have removed the hopper before, but never worked out how to remove the arm?

  • I did that just about immediately after I got it...I think you have to extend it as far as it goes, then look on the bottom of the hopper. Use a flat blade screwdriver to scratch away at the little tab thing that keeps the arm from coming out. If I remember correctly, there's a square-shaped hole in the arm when you look at it from the bottom. You have to stick the screwdriver through both that and the hole in the bottom of the hopper to 'grind' the tab thing off.

  • NICE JOB

  • THATS FREAKIN EXCELLNT WORK!!!!!! what did u do with the original Bruder hopper???? and how did u get it out of the trucks????

  • The hopper is made to come out. If you look at the top of it, there is a little tap that you need to push real hard with your thumb and pull it out at the same time. I still have the hopper, but I saw this as an opportunity to modify when I discovered that it was removable.

  • Can u put the hopper back in after u pull it out???

  • if you mean the bruder hopper, yes

  • Yep cool!!!

  • nice JOB i love it now First Gear needs to make one and well be all set!!!
