@CristinaBurke19 Late comment but um, I don't think Lara was the real reason why Dana broke up with Alice. Remember when Dana was leaving Alice's apartment crying, she went in the car and Lara was the driver and Lara was about to kiss Dana and then Dana said to Lara that she wasn't the reason why Dana broke up with Alice. Dana told Lara that it wasn't working out for her and Alice. So I don't know if Lara is the real reason why Dana dumped Alice.

Alice might have been the reason she and Dana broke up. She got really clingy and I think it turned Dana off a bit. Also Dana and Lara didn't really have any closure when they broke up. You could tell that Dana probably regretted that happening. They were just back at the point where they had that connection again.

Dana and Alice's friendship was what made their relationship work but Dana and Lara's personalities worked really well together. I think that made them a better couple.

It's exactly because they loved Dana so much that they end up having a short affair. They were helping each other through their grief, they were not in love with each other or anything. No one else could know the pain they were in except each other. There was a kinship there. Grief is a strange journey and they helped each other through the pain.

There could have been so much more though had they kept her in the show. Lauren & Leisha both are incredibly talented actresses.
