one thing i can never figure out when im watching saving private ryan is in the scene where captain miller orders the attack on the german machine gun post in the middle of the movie where the medic dies WHY HAVE AN UNARMED MEDIC TAKE PART IN AN ASSAULT it just doesnt make sense
