How many facts do you need in example to convince you bad things can happen? You can't point out "trees" and "water" or "root systems" which could easily be natural formations like cracked & dried soil or soil or rocks pushed into patterns by strong winds over time. Look at isolated areas on google satelite maps of desert areas or other isolated areas and you'll see similar patterns. What you're doing is the equivalent of seeing Jesus' face in a coffee stain.
