How did you dare leave out the Haegemonia logo out of the ending of the movie-clip :((((...that's just epic how it enters...It gives a MASSIVE kinda feeling to the game:D

I miss this game so much. I wish they'd make a new one, or at least that something similar would be made. The music was incredible, and the solar systems were great.

I play Sins of a Solar Empire constantly, but it's just not the same. The solar systems in sins are just randomly generated node maps. There's no orbits, no rhyme or reason to them. There's ice planets in the inner circle, volcanic worlds on the outer rim, nothing orbits. It's crap. Hegemonia had realistic planetary systems.

@Etimos SoaSE was mainly played for it's massive battles / mass war fun, that said I'm to young to know the game you like so much.

And I agree; that some of the modern games lack some detail wile focusing on graphics. But, I think other games make up for it.

What do you think of EVE? I like how they are contently developing it, like a true MMO

@BoltOfThundor I'll be honest, I tried a trial of Eve once, and it just bored the hell out of me. It doesnt explain anything, just drops you in and expects you to know what you're doing, so I flew to an asteroid and started to mine, and after about twenty minutes of nothing, I realized that I was watching youtube videos while my game ran in the background, instead of playing a game and listening to youtube in the background.

SSE is awesome, but the deathmatch/style node maps spoil it for me.

These weren`t Earth fighters. In Solon Heritage,, those fighter that attacked Martians are actually mercs. Nobody know who hired them. Anyway, if you have an offer of their service in skirmish, ACCEPT! they`re awesome
