  • 9:44 Hot Chocolate OR, Steaming Poo in a Paint Bucket....

  • Get off your arse old fit and tidy up

  • these shows make me cry so much

  • at the end?

  • i'm starting to become addicted to watching these documentaries xD does anyone know the song in the background??

  • @Burnz2much If you watch these shows, these people have HUGE social interaction problems and tend to be isolated from family and friends or just don't have any (yes, for some, hoarding drove them away but for others a loved one passed away or some other trauma so they became hoarders). So I think getting more positive social interactions in their lives is really critical. Also they need to see how "normal" people live and interact, away from their piles of junk. It's a start.

  • William needs to die. Zero sympathy.

  • Mentally ill...

  • it is amazing the self centerdness that these people exihbit.

  • These poor people, they suffer from a instinctive diversion (like how a caveman gathers meat), just like how homosexuals suffer from an instinctive diversion... Yet we should support these people and help them feel happy, while maintaining a sense of belonging in society. I think instinctive diversion is the curse of intelligent creatures. (Now you will probably call me homophobic etc, but you must agree that it is against the grain of instinctive procreation and im not being antagonistic)

  • William is mad.

  • @101Volts. Thanks, I'll check into it- but like so many hoarders, (especially the guys), the junk they pick up is "valuable." It just needs to be fixed up and then it can be sold for a huge profit. So...no hoarding, it's just a "home business" (never mind that nothing has ever been sold his whole life, it's going to happen some day- and the stuff that can't be fixed is saved for "spare parts." Yup, huge denial...

  • So I read some ignorant comment about how there are no British hoarders. Yeah, umm...Meep Meep Meep MeeP MEEP!

  • If you have a relative who is a hoarder, there is really very little you can do so let's not blame any of the relatives. My brother needs help on so many levels- my final "intervention" is buying a family vacation house in which he can live but NOT his stuff (which has to stay at his dump, about 1 hr. away). I am paying for a cleaning service and lawn service which will come weekly. My mother will come and stay on weekends/summer; family will come on holidays. This is my last effort...

  • @erbiumfiber Maybe if your brother reads "Clutter's Last Stand" It could help. It was written in the early 80s but is still very relevant.

  • @erbiumfiber You are a better person then me, I would only help that much if they showed improvement. But realize that there is not many people that have family or someone who cares that could provide such an arrangement.

  • @Burnz2much

Well, it is now 5 months after buying the house and it is REALLY working out. Family has been to visit and my brother is MUCH less isolated (because you can't really invite people over to your hoarder dump). His junk is NOT in the new house and even his DOGS love it because they can move around! He is not going to ever change at his house but he is getting a taste of normality which is positive. I do it all for my mother, who worries about him. I would do anything for my mother

  • @erbiumfiber Glad to hear it. Now if only everyone could be put up in a house of their own with no rent. World would be a better place. :)

  • @Burnz2much Yes, I have been financially fortuntate, also the drop in prices made it very cheap and maybe, just maybe, it will appreciate by the time I retire. It has a ton of land and my brother is making all kinds of plans to build a barn (just NOT put junk in it, this much he knows) and clearing out the wooded parts and fixing things up. MUCH healthier than how he was living- he still goes "home" to play with his compressors, etc. but he is emotionally better with more family around.

  • @erbiumfiber a lot of families would have give up. you must have a loving family, but even your close ones have a limit.

  • I feel that her cousin should be more supporting, maybe even letting her know that she should have being there for her more often

  • We don't have the obsession with bleaching and whiteness the way Americans do. Even their eggs are all white, ever notice that? They're not different from brown eggs but the browns aren't considered as aesthetically appealing. While no one wants to have yellow teeth, bleaching is not considered a must-have here. And while it may be common or even normal for middle-aged/elderly Americans to have their teeth perfected, it's simply not the biggest concern for most older people over here.

  • A GOOD KICK IN THE ASS WOULD HELP!!!!!!!!! WEAK ASS PEOPLE

  • A GOOD KICK IN THE ASS WOULD HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • This is sad b/c all these hoarders have sweet personalities. They don`t seem mean or hateful at all, but I can also see the real stress it seems to inflict on them to be asked to throw the simplest thing away. It is sad. A drunk will curse & fight you for his alcohol but these hoarders just look pitiful & distressed over a piece of worthless paper.

  • Oh geeese, I guess your just soooooooo rude about everyone else, you just dont like some coming back at yeh!

  • Actually we (Americans) brush regularly and practice good oral hygiene

  • @pearldrop2 And Like we dont ! Just shows how much you know.

  • We dont have bad teeth, they are natural. Most Americans use bleach or enamel facings to their teeth, giving them an un-natural whiteness. A lot also use dental surgery that would be deemed very unnecessary in the UK. In the Uk we have a NHS dental service and a small private service, therefore only necessay work is carried out. There are 100s of shades of teeth through the white, cream range, in America you dont see this just bleach whiteness.

  • @PurdyBear1 (americans) " Most Americans use bleach or enamel facings to their teeth" do we? do we really?

  • @PurdyBear1 Your "information," is incorrect. A small minority of Americans bleach their teeth, and only a few can afford veneers. Many do get braces, which is less available to residents of the UK, but that's not the only reason for the difference. I lived in England and have seen the difference in attitudes about oral hygiene. Americans who don't practice good oral hygiene have bad teeth as well. We're not all a bunch of movie stars bleaching our teeth and getting plastic surgery over here.

  • I have completely lost my appetite now after watching this. And even though my house is clean and minimalist I just feel like cleaning. It is sad and do think they all need serious, professional help.

  • That daughter is brave!!! This is my dad!!! What a miserable old bugger - sad that he thinks a pile of junk is worth more than his precious family. I thought his wife was a wimp, until I realised that they don't like the appearance of people ganging up on them - she however does winge and then runs.

William is hopelessly mentally ill and needs help.

History of violence, parent with substance abuse issues, rejection, criticism, etc, etc, etc....

  • I think there is a point ware such people who hoard their own waste should be put into an institution to receive help for the underline problems and not just the hoarding.

  • this is sad

  • @NoLongerFooled :) As a Brit living in the USA, clearly you have never seen the country folk of America. LOL Not All I might add.... ;)

  • Maureen's cousin Mary seems to have an issue of her own...

  • @TSM8088 What issue does she have? I don't understand what you mean.

  • When William says "perhaps some friends", my heart broke! :( I pray that he is getting the help he needs!!

  • For Richer or Hoarder , In Sickness and in health..

  • Who else here wants to hug that man's poor wife???

  • Why do so many British people have bad teeth?

  • @OtherLives Braces aren't cheap either....

  • @OtherLives Actually, many people are born with bad teeth, and it cost a lot to have them fixed. Also, you need to start the braces process as early as possible.

Preferably before age 14. Most parents who can afford it, strive to have their children's teeth fixed.

  • @OtherLives Really??

  • @OtherLives Ouch! That really hurt! Boy oh boy!

  • @OtherLives But Americans have crummy teeth, too. What we don't have is very many documentaries.

  • @chemoelectric Yeah. We call those people hicks.

    In Canada, they're hockey players.

  • @OtherLives Hygiene=Vanity?

  • @OtherLives

that is no reason why ur teeth should look jacked up and have bad breath on top of that. Being vain has nothing to do with it. brush ur teeth, floss, see ur dentist on reg basis.

  • @OtherLives oh yes you are

  • @OtherLives lol vain = having healthy teeth? ill take it.

  • @zackboomer You should open you eyes more. I've seen plenty of people here in the US walking around with some pretty nasty looking teeth.

  • @xexixk Anyone with bad teeth are nasty. People have to fix that because if you have nasty teeth or bad breath, that's one of the first things that people notice. It's not a great first impression.

  • @zackboomer I agree, just stating I've seen plenty of people here in the US who could do with some dental "help" as well.

  • @xexixk of course, there are people with bad teetch everywhere, just moreso in the UK.

  • @zackboomer I've been to the UK many times. I haven't noticed any more people there running around with hideous teeth than I've sen here. Hideous teeth being rotten or horrible twisted and crooked. Bleaching teeth to an artificial bright white I don't consider as a hygenic thing - actually that can damage the enamel and eventually lead to all kinds of unpleasant problems. Regular cleanings and so forth are one thing, but that bleaching can cause problems if it is done on a regular basis.

  • @xexixk I'm not talking about bleaching, most people don't get that done, it's mostly celebrity types. Actually celebrities usually get veneers, but whatever. I'm talking about taking care of your teeth, brushing twice a day, brushing your tongue maybe. It doesn't take that long.

  • @zackboomer I understand, that's what I'm talking about too. Some people do seem to confuse bleaching with normal and good care.

  • @OtherLives

my daughter had perfectly fine teeth and betw her class mates and the dentist she was pushed into wearing braces.

the orthadontist pulled her teeth this way then said oops too far and pulled them the other way.

    fucking racket.

  • @OtherLives I'm glad I'm vain then because I know I take care of myself and my house. My hygeine is good and I am healthy if I am vain for that then I guess I am vain. I would rather be vain than to be filthy to prove I am not.

  • @OtherLives How does America fit into the equation ?

  • @OtherLives For me personally, it's not about being vein. It's about being able to chew and not having bad breath because of rotting teeth. Yeah most people don't have overly bleached extra white teeth that are perfectly straight. To be honest it does seem like (these people here) teeth hurt. It looks that way anyways. They just look a bit unhealthy, like they're about to fall out.

  • @NoLongerFooled why do so many americans have incest with family members?????

  • @804safety That's funny you should mention that, because the Queen and her whole family are the products of incest, and they rule you (assuming that you are British)

That being said, greater numbers of people usually mean greater numbers of everything else.

    U.K. = 62 million people

    USA = 310 million people

    Difference = 248 million people

If the U.K. suddenly had 248 million more people, would there be more cases of incest? Most likely.

  • @NoLongerFooled I AM CANADIAN EH.

  • @804safety They do? Where are you getting your stats from? Maybe in some of the hick states in the Deep South..........hmmmmm, guess what country supplied arms to the South during the Civil War?

  • @NoLongerFooled im not british,im canadian, and damn glad i was born on this side of the border,CANADA RULES,AMERICA KILLS CHILDREN.

  • @804safety Reminds me... I haven't reached my child killing quota for the week.

  • @TheVikingElvis child molesting bastards like yourself should be shot and pissed on,and i bet your american,p.s-stupid name too.

  • @804safety XD You're hilarious.

  • @804safety What do you mean exactly? The wars?

  • @NoLongerFooled damn straight.in every war, america has killed more children and unarmed cilivians than soldiers,do you see a problem with that, just like your american friend there'the viking elvis' just what im talking about.

  • @804safety Do I see a problem with it? Hell yeah I do. Those wars are 100% completely immoral and the evilness of it goes beyond just a body count.

They (the government that doesn't represent me) have littered the middle east with depleted uranium which has a half-life of 4.5 billion years. Children are now being born with horrid birth defects, and the water supply is going to wind up contaminated.

  • @NoLongerFooled

yeah I always wonder why they have bad teeth? I do not think they do or should eat or suck anything of the male or female sex part.

  • @NoLongerFooled

Actually, my boyfriend is British and I'm American, and he has nicer teeth than I do. A very charming smile.

Also, dentistry isn't covered under the universal health care over there. There have also been calls to add fluoride to the tap water in England (apparently to mixed reactions).

In the end, it's really just stereotype. I live in California and lots of people stereotype me as being a thin, blonde, tan, superficial beach-goer.

    Stereotypes suck.

  • @NoLongerFooled Maybe it's genes? I have never had major dental work but my teeth are fine and the teeth of my family are fine without having to have work done.

  • @NoLongerFooled actually it's because they didn't put flouride in the water until recently

  • @NoLongerFooled So let me get this straight. You've been to every house in Britain to see our teeth and then after your visit you have come up with the conclusion that our teeth are bad. You need to get a life or help from a doctor. What an idiotic and stupid thing for you to say.

  • @iftyshifty It is a common generalization, due to the fact most do. It's ok, I would rather have bad teeth then contribute tax's to the murder of innocent's around the world, or in some cases actually carrying it out. But hey, we are all born into something we don't like. Just ignore the BS, every single culture, race and creed have common generalizations even if they are not true. But it does make you wonder where they get started, at least for me.

  • @Burnz2much Nice one B. Totally agree with you mate.

  • this puts a new meaning to "please excuse the mess", i remember my mom used to say that now looking back the mess was nothing compared to these houses. i really hope these people got help though!

  • This documentary made me clean my room.

  • her place is filthy - she showed us the bed, those sheets have not been changed in years.. the place and the woman must stink!!!!

  • seriously, i thought my mother and older brother were hoarders now i see they are nuttin comparedto thm...those ppl really need help SERIOUS HELP...and god bless Karen's soul....tht poor old woman is tired and needs a good break

  • Oh this really makes me cry! I love psychology...love it! These people just need understanding & love. This is no different than an addiction, no different than compulsive eating, or not eating, It is an issue of depression, anxiety, lack of control and maybe even traumatic events that occured in these ppl. lives.

  • i can't understand people who retain old food, unsanitary liquids, feces... there's a difference between keeping an old empty styrofoam cup laying around versus an old carton half-full of ice cream gone moldy melted into the living room rug - or, in William's case, the ultimate horror. with that said, i am not judging them for being worse - it's just a deeper psychology to understand is all. i hope all of these people find some peace. everyone deserves to get the help they need to be happy.

  • If I were Roy's wife, I would beat the he!! out of him.

  • I feel so sorry for Roy's wife, I think the help has come far too late, the damage to their relationship has been done. I admire Roy's wife, I know I could not cope with what she appears to have gone through.

  • GOOD FUCKING GOD!!!!! These people have some DEEP!! issues.....I mean no one is perfect but fuck how can someone be so self absorbed to not realize what they are doing or be able to change their way of life.

  • At 2:43 I jumped because I thought the whole place was going to cave in on her. It's actually very dangerous living in that all alone. Good thing she started letting her family know.

  • William needs a hug

  • Roy needs some major eyebrow trimming

  • Roy needs someone to push his sorry old azz down the stairs.

  • Diskettes, yeah sure unless it is a loved one and then it is heartbreaking. you penis wrinkle.

  • fact is if someone of your relative or old friend visit you and see you in a clutter , they are going to feel good about themselves . for those of us who are themselves not hoarder or dont know any body who is hoarder .what are we doing here . I TELL U IT FEELS GOOD TO SEE PEOPLE DO SUCH STUPID THINGS.

  • I have noticed a computer in everyone one of these hoarders homes as my family does the same thing , I wonder if turning off the monitor would be a better option.

  • mental illnesses are way more challenging and difficult than physical illness.

  • I'm surprised that first lady doesn't get in trouble with her landlord.

  • My mother is a hoarder.. it is a disease. She has such a strong relationship with her stuff. When I finally had enough and started throwing it out, she cried over dishes. Literally. She will never forgive me for clearing out the potential health hazard. To her, it's her way of life.

  • how is william not working who pays for his bills and food?

  • Yeah i dont think many women would put up with a man crapping in containers and keeping it.

  • @AngeliaChanel LOLOLOL Made me laff ty

  • @AngeliaChanel "swm likes long walks on beach, candlelit dinners, and crapping in containers and keeping it"

  • @AngeliaChanel omg... i just clicked on this video and saw your comment first..... 0___0!!!! that's a sign of insanity!!!

  • @AngeliaChanel you are garbage

  • Hmmm... Something tells me that his public admission that he enjoys collecting and saving his piss and excrement might stand beween him and the ladies?
