  • You're very good, honey.

  • Were singing this song in chior ^^ but i must say your pitch is perfect and your voice is beautiful :3 very well done <3

  • @DinosaurLove1000 thank you. I just opened a new channel where I will post new vocal covers its gleekgirl21. Nothing up yet but feel free to subscribe to both channels for updates!!!

  • im singing this in choir and good job!!!

  • try Scarborough fair or Green Sleeves English medieval songs..

  • A voice to remind aging mothers of school days....

  • @libertango100 what do you mean by that?

  • @libertango100 all nice--memories WHY ???

  • @libertango100 Thanks! This song is already 2 years old. I was just wondering if you like what you are hearing is all. Any tips for improvement? Feel free to subscribe if you would like as well. Thanks again for the nice comment.

  • 6 @cookiesnmilksinger07 I feel like commenting this morning.

When mums send their kids to Schools normally they learn some music which they sing it to to their parents at Xmas time then, it is recorded for future hearing--hence, Aging mums -- we did it here at home over 51 years ago & the tape is still being played at home-- my son is a singer now...

  • @cookiesnmilksinger07 try now, Green Sleeves-- and Scarborough Fair--

    Medieval songs from England

  • Lovely

  • @aporiaii thank you so very much! Please feel free to subscribe and leave me some requests that I can work on for you if you would like any songs in particular.

  • I sang this little song in my school Choir, as a a child. Your rendition reminds me of me! :-D

  • @jsbach15 thanks I am glad I was able to bring back some memories for you :)

  • I like your voice! And maybe this is just the way I learned it- but the version I know, for the "Soft the drowsy hours are keeping" you're supposed to sing the B in the higher octave, but like I said, maybe that's just how I learned it. But you did great :)

  • @GeeMusicFreakxx thanks for your support. I have heard the song in different ways too. I am sure your version is beautiful too! Thanks for your critique.

  • you have a great raw talent! try supporting your voice by tightening you abs, that will help with the airy quality when you sing higher. and like jazzmusic07 said, try taller vowels by keeping your mouth rounded and lips turned outward to sing. i think you sound pretty good though without having any training.

  • @girlwithguns88 thanks since this was recorded I was lucky enough to have one semester of voice training in college, this was 2 years ago, I would love to read what you have to say about my more recent pieces as well as the fact it is with a brand new microphone! Thanks so much for your supportive critique it made me smile :)

  • you did good with the pitch. you sound really young.. you could be really good with training

  • i love it.... Im singing this song for a choir contest thingy mabobber

  • I would say use taller vowels and you are getting some of your consonants. When you get to the higher notes sit on top of them instead of "scooping" up to them and more breath for those higher pitches. Sorry, i'm getting a minor in voice. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything...but you can keep a pitch and that is a GREAT start!!!!

  • @jazzmusic07 thanks so much for the tips! This is from awhile ago and I think I have improved, but definitely have a long way to go. Thanks again :)

  • pretty voice :)

  • cool!

  • I picked this song for my solo this year in choir.

  • you did a pretty good job i am doin that for my solo in choir right now

  • thanks this was a really old recording from years ago. I also used it for auditions in high school. Best wishes for a great solo!

  • thanx

  • that was VERY ballsy to sing a solo and put it on the internet where people can be such harsh critics. i think that you should be commended for your courage. you have some moxy.

  • thank you. I agree. I know this song is definitely my best but I have fun with singing and if someone can not be helpful in giving advice to make one sound better why comment it? Especially when they can not even have guts to post. Having you agree with my philosophy in this helps so much. I do hope you enjoyed this recording.

  • i shall subscribe. that is good that you are working on your music skills. singing is a lot harder the a interment. i will be looking ford to your other videos.^^

  • yes it is. Im getting an acoustic guitar for my birthday soon too So I plan on practicing that some more, I taught myself basic guitar skills on my sister's electric fender, I want to get an Epiphone Dove Edition.

  • wow that is nice check out the welsh translated version i think you like it

  • thank you so much for the friendly critique.

  • for no training you sound pretty good!! i have about 7 years of training and i sang this song and man i tell you was hard for me. i think you did great. (the first time i sang it i sounded like a dieing frog)

  • thanks at this time I had choir and some community theater. Now I had a semester of voice in college and I think I am improving. Feel free to subscribe if you like.

  • you did a good job at singing all though the night

  • thanks

  • You sound like you are singing from your throat, you need to learn to sing and breathe from your diaphram. This will allow you to get more air and hold notes longer when singing

  • Thanks this is a very old recording and since I began some lessons and also developed so much more as a singer I feel that ive improved on this please subscribe and check out my other songs.

  • you sound good. but you are singing pitch. i am doing this song for a solo festival. when you sing this, sing outward. and you are not energetic enough. you sing to soft. try pulsing if you kno how too. if you pulse the song will sond energetic...im in high skol chorus, and i dont really sing in front of ppls because im shy singing in front of ppl. my teacher told me to pulse an sing outward, let me say, when i do it feels right and sounds good

  • i'm doing this for my high school audition!

  • good luck, I have done this for auditions as well. I just began private lessons check out my newer videos. I think they are much more improved.

  • i am doing this song in my choir it is very pretty and u r very good!!!!

  • thanks so much, I am using this for an audition for the spring as my attempt to get into the choir if I can fit it into my schedule. Check out my other work and feel free to subscribe

  • You sound great. You will do much better with some voice training.

  • Thanks I am working on getting lessons added into my already hectic college schedule. but hopefully next semester I will be accepted into the choirs or be able to fit lessons into it. I appreciate the feedback very much

  • I agree with pillowmachine. And you should probably try and sing more oprea ish. If you no what i mean. Because i take voice lessons and that is what my teacher would say.

  • hey, i have actually taught and sung this song in the national youth choir of scotland a few years ago.

the only critisism i would have is again ur breath control, the high notes being a little nasely and scopping the notes. if u just focus and let it float over u it should sound great. good job just now and good luck for the audition. x

  • thanks, I didnt get in this semester, but no freshmen did so I will try again in the spring and am in the theater club.

  • it sounds a little nasely try working the high notes but other wise it was good

  • thanks, it was a long time ago and my high notes are much better but I am an alto not a soprano

  • this is a hard song to pull off! Gr8 job!

  • thanks, turns out I just have to do scales for the audition though at least the large one cause I am not ready for the small ensembles my first college year.

  • im also picking a song to audition to go to new york with a handpicked choir.

this is one of the choices.

im still thinking of doing greensleeves or Amarilli, mia bella. i dont know yet.

    good luck!

  • gl 2 u2 i just found out I dont actually need a song to audition ( at least for the large choir) I am not doing small ensemble just yet ( first year college need to get used to the ropes) but they just test scales and pitches basically as far as I was told at orientation this weekend.

  • I love this one, you sound great

  • thanks, it is my college audition piece.

  • Try holding your nose shut while you sing. Then try to sound normal. It'll stop you from sounding nasally. I'm working on it too ;)

  • thanks, I have been working on that and breath control, 2 hardest things for a vocalist. I appreciate the feedback. Auditions are in late august.

  • Sounds great!! Keep them coming and good luck with audition

  • thanks!

  • this is one of your better songs..i think you're starting to get better. =]

    <3Daniela

  • thanks girlie! xoxo

  • wow great job! how old are you anyways?

BTw, we could do a duet like Without You...from Rent...lol Tht'll b ok rite?

  • totally, if u have the karaoke I have been dying to do that

  • wow, this is the best that I have heard you! I like it.

  • thanks, I am using this as a college audition this summer if I get over my nerves.
