@AnimeUW Just as I thought. Found an episode description on Wikipedia and matched it up to this clip. Anime always inspires me to create my own, but not in a series.
@AnimeUW Ah, but there's much more to it than just graphic designing. There's also animation, acting and movement, and of course drawing skills. Those are essentials I can think of off the top of my head, but there's probably more.
@AnimeUW I have plans for a whole video game in my head, and I've had it in mind for years now. Inspired by anime and anime cut scenes such as those from Mega Man 8 and Tales of Symphonia, I aspire to have anime cut scenes in my planned VG. That could land me as a writer for the script and possibly a director as well, but that's far too ambitious. I'm trying to learn all the skills necessary to make my own ideas come to fruition.
@AnimeUW Underwater scenes? With my plans? Buddy, you are gonna LOVE my game! My plan is to create an adventure action RPG and one of the 11 worlds I got planned is ENTIRELY underwater! In fact, the main protagonist of the game, a girl, is best friends with a mermaid! And if I can wager it, I'll create an entire anime cut scene story set after the world events in which there would be no game play, just a scene. Because the setting is a distant island, there's gonna be water everywhere!
@AnimeUW I could tell you a whole lot, but I think it's probably best if I PM you because of how much content I could tell you. Are you okay with that?
As for the main protagonist, she's gonna be a normal human girl because my idea is not really a "magical girl" genre, but more action like in Fire Emblem and Chrono Trigger. However, her mermaid friend will become a human girl at some point...
@AnimeUW Yeah. I always wanted to design the games ever since I started playing the games. The original Super Mario Bros. started my "addiction" to video games. But since I started living in a dorm for my current college, I started warming up to Japanese anime clips, including characters speaking in Japanese.
Isn't this episode 3?
