The Veil or the Niqab IS NOT part of the Quran ! I am a muslim man and Ive read the holy Quran and read it still ! Anyone that thinks its a must DOESN'T UNDERSTAND OR KNOW THERE OWN RELIGION !

Just like every other faith, many people have different ideas on how to show their faith. Like I don't find it necessary to walk around with a cross necklace on. I believe my faith shows through my life and my actions, while some other woman may walk around with her bible attached to her hip&religious tee shirts on, etc. I don't think every woman should be forced to wear these veils if they don't want to, but I think for westerners it makes us uncomfortable if we can't see the other person.

I think its wrong to ban any type of clothing with religious connectivity to it. Maybe they could say that when entering into areas that require the full face and body shown (like in USA the airports and banks, etc) that these veils should be removed for safety, however banning them because they are "oppressive"? That's us placing our ethnocentrism upon another nation. We cannot judge another culture based on our own ideas and morals. It's impossible to.

hijab, is a screening,which ALLAH commands in the Quran, so that the believing woman will be recognized as free women who are not slaves to fashion or manmade trends, dictates or passions.

i don't believe hair is considered pritave like other parts of our body.....u confuse some things...if u don't cover ur hair it doesn't mean u r naked...i respect women who choose to wear the veil...but i don't respect those who think that other women who don't wear it r immoral..that's what i said..

viel is some times a choice sometimes forced or sometimes they wear to appease others( family /community)

but i personally dont place viel high up in the agenda as far as islam is concerned

for example

she can pay the bill of anything in 2 mins

while men can wait 30 mins

Alhamdulilah, this shows that it is not only the Islamic faith that it is written for women to cover themselves but other faiths too. So why do most people give Muslims a hard time when other religious people wear it aswell?

where i work there is a man how delivers fuel and he says hes not racist but he is.he trys to make fun of islam ect.he said isnt it exstream about my cloths ect i said know.if u look in the bible its says woman before entering the church they should wear a scarf or shave there hair.he said he didnt knwo that i said well then go and read the bible as he says he is christian.he alsway says about terorist but i say u shouldnt look at the muslim u should look at Quran as a true guide....
