  • I hope youre ok? I was diagnosed with BPD and anorexia drug abuse etc! I spent nearly a year in Castlcraig Hospital rehab In Scotland-the only clinic in Europe that deals with dual diagnosis. It has its own website.Take care, lovexxxx

  • Hello Claire, Nice to meet you, I found that mental hospital should give you support though CPN, or NLP or CBT stuff like that? Have you had psychothepary will help as well, sorry you having hard time? I hope you are well? Looking forward to hearing from you again Hugs Kisses Love Gizmo xxx

  • I have worse than you have mate, unstable emotional borderline personality disorder. The only thing that helped me. was going to a real christian or chatholic church and got blessed by the priest. After i ate the bread and dink the wine, all my feeling came back to normal. everything started looking bright. i started feeling love for everything. Before i was in total darkness, wounldnt come out the bed. would eat, was very suicidle, and now i completed my studies and live a normal christianlife.

  • Only Catholic churches do communion, not just any Christian church, and you can only take communion after you've been baptized, not blessed.

  • There is a psychiatric hospital here in the US McLean Hospital outside of Boston, that treats adolescents with BPD.I have a daughter just like you and she doesn't want help or believe that anything will help her. There are many hospitals here that can help. The best therapy is called DBT. you can be cured... there is hope. You must learn the skills, then apply them.I hope you are still out there.I see a beautiful child who can be BETTER,

  • Welcome to You Tube!

It's such a shock to first hear the diagnosis, isn't it? I see on your profile you're from Ireland. The UK seems to be years behind America and some other places in terms of actually treating BPD.

I relate to your agony of "I truly can't live in my head anymore"... I know that feeling only too well, and it's unbearable.

Send me a private message if you want to talk, or want to know which books are good to read to help you understand BPD.

    Love Claire

  • been sitting here 4 the 5 hrs looking at videos & im new 2 writing on youtube but thought dat some of ur thoughts and advice were so helpful. was told dat i have bpd 2wks ago & they discharged me from psyc hospital the next day .i dont know how to handle this...im suffering with anorexia & self-harm on a regular basis..i NEVER leave my bed during the day and take meds to sleep all day long...i hate myself & have tried suicide which i know is very selfish but i truly cant live in my head anymore.

  • i just wish i could help in some way...but i have to say i think it's so amazing that through all this you are always still fighting and looking for help and have such a desire to get better... it really shows your strength... i just hope so much you find the help you need... thinking of you as always... all my love xxx

p.s i love your pink room!

  • Thank you for your support. I'm glad you like my pink room! It's my 'rose room' - my little safe haven where I spend most of my days. It's not my main bedroom, but I kind of prefer this little one - it feels safe.

  • If I could create a place for people of all shapes and sizes, all problems and diseases, to be helped and detangled from their issues, and to find some peace in their soul, then I'd make one for you, and all others in your situation.

    xoxo

  • Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm going back to the local psych ward this afternoon. I'm not sure if I'll have internet access. If not, please know I'm thinking of you all, with lots of love.

  • If you have bupa insurance or join bupa, I think they will pay for you to go into the Priory. They treat lots of different problems, just not cheap. Good luck in finding somewhere luv Jen

  • I am also so proud of you for not giving up on yourself. You can and WILL find help gorgeous. The right place will be out there. I will help you with the research if you like. Love and hugs, Chels xxx

  • Oh claire hunni I am sorry things are so hard atm. There is a few good places in Australia that I can recommend if u are interested but I am not sure whether they would want u on the eating disorder program. Often they want you to treat the ED first and get physically healthy because then u are in a better place to be able to tackle the BPD and associated problems. I agree though it wud be great to treat it all at once. I am sure places are trained to treat more than one illness at once.

  • hi sweetie! I am so glad to hear from you again... sorry your treatment didnt work for you so far :( of course I dont know a place to go for you because I live in Germany... but I want you to know that I would always talk to you when you need someone (I have bpd too!)

    much love, xoxo
