come on dude. wear your bass higher. make it strangle you. that's what i do. :D lol jk but its cool to see someone else wear their bass above their belt.
@blah114a i know what you mean. i had a lower end spector for about 2 or 3 years and didn't dig the sound. so i got a MIM jazz bass and it sounds awesome. it just physically feels like a toy.
Very nice, I need to learn this song myself. You said something in a response awhile back: "I hear different notes at times". Don`t even worry about it, the same thing happens to most other players (me too!) when trying to learn a song. You can watch 10 different covers of the same song and get 10 variations. Nice job regardless, man.
Thanks.. interestingly, some other guy thinks I should play a precision for this song.. I agree, but cannot afford to buy a Precision for just this one song.. thanks!
U2, I think, has one of the best guitarists in the history of "electric guitar.." I get far more from him (The Edge) than other guitarists.. and the bass line from Three Sunrises is mesmerizing.. I need to add that on here when I finally learn to play that.
GREAT......Now Teach Us How To PLAY IT.

@Dodgyasdf I wear it lower nowadays.. and I never use this bass, either.. the Jazz.. it's way too thin..

Sounds ok but if you would play right it would sound better. Lose the extra notes.

yeah. Precision has the right sound to it, but unfortunately its not the cheapest of basses

not far from it but in the main riff, there are some notes missing

let me know.. I hear different notes at times.. also, I think Adam himself might play this differently at times. Not sure. Great song.

live, he plays it a bit differently but in studio on war or the best of, he plays the samething during the verses.
