  • Does the Spawner Scan accessable areas closest to it? or is it random chance where the mobs would be spawned?

  • @ixcaliber If you are within 16 blocks the spawner is active. If there are 6 or more mobs within 8 blocks of the spawner no more will spawn.

  • Is there a website or a forum page that lists the numbers involving spawning. For example, how close you have to be for something to spawn. or how far mobs have to be away from a spawner for it spawn again.

    It seems like a lot of youtubers find the information easily, but I can't find it anywhere.

    And don't tell me to go to the wiki, it tells you barely anything.

  • Do you know a mod which increase the range you need to be within, for the mobs to spawn???

  • I can confirm that you do need to drop down *two* blocks to account for mobs jumping into the 17x17x9 area. My original skele grinder went down one extra block, and had trouble breaking 70 mobs in containment as a result. I fixed it, dropped the extra block, and now apparently there's no limit. I figure it's 'cuz mobs jump just over one block, like the player does.

  • @Logpatable Yeh, I tried default textures and saw no difference. Next video I will record at a much lower desktop resolution as suggested to me. Thanks for the feedback all the same, appreciated man.

  • @SirRobHiFi lag probably has something to do with the amount of glowstone you have in that map

  • @sabotaz90 I've fixed the issue for the most part, I'm now recording with a lower desktop res etc which made a huge difference.
