  • Typical Jewish husband.

  • She got him when she took over the black girl.

    I feel so terribly racist.

  • Terrible shooting...but good episode!

  • Okay, it wasn't a bad version, but I'm partial to the original B&W. What is cool about these remakes, is the time they were made. I recognized Jeffrey Tambor as the husband and Teresa Saldano (?) as the maid, and was that Helen Mirren?! No closing credits, so I'll have to look it up somewhere else. Nice effort, but I fear the reason for this show is to make color versions of Rod's originals, because people are TOO STUPID to watch B&W anything, at least when they made these new versions.

  • @dplomin1954 Yeah. Thats Helen Mirren. Shes awesome. =)

  • @dplomin1954 This color version has a more dramatic ending than the b&w version does. The killer is the one dying at the end rather than the person inheriting the pair of shoes. The pair of shoes leads the man to death in the b&w one whereas the pair of shoes leads the women into revenge and eventually killing the initial murderer

  • he's ugy as hell...she coud've done better

  • @SexyRaww Based on its plot, Susan Montgomery had married to get him burned. Being an attorney was all that mattered to her

  • @SexyRaww These two stars appeared together again in "Teaching Mrs Tingle" He is only 5'8" and it is noticeable when the two come together at 0:56 even though Helen Mirren is wearing high heels

  • @SexyRaww hey we all know with women, money counts for a hell of a lot ;)

  • @123perrin I'm not too sure about that. Don't buy into stereotypes, you're only stupifiying yourself lol.

  • @SexyRaww hmm.. i should have guessed, ur female. why would i expect any other answer xD

  • @123perrin wow....okay. I'm only trying to help you lol. I don't want you to go around making yourself delusional based off of a large cliche. Just saying, it's probably better for you if you analyzed your encounters with girls critically. You might get a girlfriend. lol.

  • @SexyRaww hmm im dissapointed in you. u say im stupified and delusional, and basically i cant get a gf. well just so you know, i have a wife and kids =) so chicky, perhaps u shouldnt be so judgemental. u might get a few more things right =P

  • @123perrin well I'm sorry about that false assumption. But I will say it's hard understanding how you treat your wife based on your stereotypical view of people. But that's none of my business. I just wish you the best of luck. And don't take this personally.

besides, your responses elicited a judgmental reply. I sincerely apologize if I was judgmental but it was only because of the information from you. it's like when a fat girl wears a shirt that says, "skinny bitch." It's confusing lol

  • @SexyRaww , well i said those comments ''tongue in cheek''. of course not all women are like that. some are, but hey, so are some men. anyway, no need to apologize, no offence was taken. cheers and peace ;)

  • @123perrin You have a good point there. Both men and women can have strong urges to side with those who are wealthy. Toodles :)

  • This video is the best one of the three segments for this episode. The best parts in all three of them is how Helen Mirren changes to each character. Her changes look so automatic that she doesn't seem to be acting but rather she sounds for real that her shoes seem to be having an effect on who she becomes

  • Amazing how a dead woman's soul would come back to life to hug and kiss her husband after he killed her and for him to do the same after he killed her at 0:56

  • Jeez, that guy couldn't catch a break. He outruns her 5 shots and then blammo from a fresh body with only one bullet left:)

  • @banjohombre He eluded 4 shots from Helen Mirren but the last shot presumably from the black woman killed him

  • It looked something like a duck that ran thru the gate at 8:21 ..

  • The outfit was a good selection

  • POW!

  • look closely at 8:21 there something an object moving on the gate....

  • @neonz57.. great find.. Greetz, Nib. :)

  • @neonz57 what was that? D:

  • look closely at 8:21 there something an object moving on the gate....

  • Anybody count the shots?

  • @banjohombre There were four shots from Helen Mirren and one from the black woman even though she wasn't broadcasted in the event because a shot was heard after she entered that same house

  • ANd no one will ever know

  • Excellent episode. One of the best of the 1980s series.

  • Does any one remember an episode that had a some kids that had to make it home before dark or the boogie man that lived under somes bed would get them and the boogie man would never haunt the person whom's bed he slept under...I need to find that so i can watch it...if any one know please get back to me..

  • The Shadowman is that episode.

  • That's another house's maid because remember, when the possessed Maddie was chasing after her husband with the gun, she ran across the street and threw the shoes out. And the last scene the black maid (now possessed) is walking across the street towards Kyle's house. :)

  • its not the same maid its a different new maid that finds the shoes

  • I love how they kept the idea of a kiss as subtle proof of identity-that was in the original 60s twilight zone version too.

  • i looooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the shoes, there freakin geourges!!!

  • @gotcheese7 These shoes had to be gorgeous enough for another woman to have been so enticed to try them at a thrift shop before this pair had a chance to be put on display at that same store. Trying on this pair was an event that changed her life

  • wait, who did the maid turn into?

  • the wife. just like maddie did.

  • i am not shopping at another thrift store. lol

  • Anyone else think the perfect song to go with this would be "Those Shoes" by the Eagles

  • This is rhe only new version of TWZ i have liked. The rest are a joke

  • Even though she can't shoot for shit, she looks good.

  • @tjs032173 yeah she is pretty!

  • @tjs032173 What's wrong with having a black girl do the killing? She's hot.

  • @Gabrieja I think so, too. It was made the plot more dramatic showing how Susan's spirit would possess the soul of a woman that has no resemblance to her

  • Damnnnn! Helen Mirren had some FINE legs! She looks sooo delicious in that outfit....

  • a timid Cinderella in rags turned sadistic queen bee with revenge on her mind. Better that the original arc of Dead's Man Shoes. But should they have to put a black girl to do the killing at the end?

  • you know what they say, always send a black woman to do a white woman's job!!

  • dan dan daaa

  • I like this one. Very glossy 80's soap style.

  • predictable ending, but still a nice episode with helen mirren in it.

  • she's the only person in the world who looks good with a gun.

  • besides sarah palin, lol!

  • Actors aren't as good as the original's. The guys all had deep sexy voices. Definitely like the black & white better, or maybe I just think the 80's fashions are terribly tragic.

  • why are u watching it then? ;)

  • Cause it was a link from the earlier shows and I wanted to see if it had a twist at the end. ;)

  • god that sax in the background is SO annoying!

  • She's a horrible shot.

  • That's exactly what I was thinking! :D

  • Wow!

Helen Mirren was great in this!

    Thanks so much for posting.

  • god This woman is great!! She can play anyone and she looks great too!!

  • GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!

  • He wasn't happily married. He was having an affair with the maid. There was a subtle hint about it when the crazy lady from the thrift store mentioned about the bonuses the maid was paid. It is called Hush Money.

  • What a markswoman.

  • A song occur in my mind that Love is a many splendored thing sung by Andy Williams.

  • A song that occurs in my mind is Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder.
