I have a buddy on here , (topdoozie1) who made a video about clamps being off , I have my Fieldpiece with me on Service , and alot of times i'll pull clamp out to reassure my temps !!!
Thats the First I have heard about pressure issues !!!
How long have you had them now ?
Were you comparing with analog ?
Man I hope they don't try and charge you for that !!! (thats B.S.) ...

If you need any help , I will try my best to help ya , I suggest you get to 2 sets of ball valve hoses if you are gonna be doin R22 & R410a,and take the little bit of extra time to purge them , before going inbetween refrigerants,to keep cross contamination to a minimum !!!

For now Van I am leaving them in case , and bringing them in house with me !!! Dallas , Tstat , and Filterchanger are packing them too now , I hope between the all of us we will get them down to a science !!! So far man , they are FANTASTIC !!!
I don't know if I'd be brave enough to hook the testo up to my system... I'd hate for everyone to see what a crappy job I did 5 years ago, before having any residential experience... Good vid, and good call on TXV problem. I sure prefer TXVs with mechanical fittings, to braze fittings. ;)
@tstatech You may be right... seems some of the Trane units have an adjustable txv...I've recently replaced four... and had to remove the coil on each.
@tstatech We dried up last year , Jason you can try H.D. Supply. com , I have bought Caps , and Transformers ,and Contactors from them , at a reasonable price , anything over $50 free delivery !!!
It trips me out the fellas in Cali tell me they hardly ever hook on to R-22 units , hell here I hardly hook onto R-410A , 90% 22 !!!

Repair price etc. Would be same as new unit. Please let me know if you guys have same issue. Pressures are off to. 3-7 psig depends on refrigerant

I found a unit doing the same thing. I found that the sencing bulb was inverted. Flipped around and she's singing a tune love the testo

If people go old skool and ONLY do Subcool , they would Never have Diagnosed , sticking TXV !!! LOL ...

I am worried about the display. If you have the Testo in the cab of your truck on a hot day, does the display go all black, like a lot of LCD's?

@FilterChanger Thats the thing I had my 10 degrees subcooling dialed in , day one !!!
It's both sides though , your fooling yourself !!! I could see a bad TXV with my manifold , but partialy stuck ?
