Watching this video has made me realise how much we're going to miss Masch. I remember 2 seasons ago we had one of the most devastating midfields in the league, with Gerrard and Alonso and Mascherano behind. We're slowly being drained of this talent thanks to the big clubs, and Alonso's departure was clearly noticeable last season. I hate to think what losing Masch will do to everyone's confidence. Dont get me wrong, Lucas and Aquilani could be great, but theyre not world beaters.
