@eduardocervantesaca the G string is the same thing only it gates your Effects Loop as well. so if you have a noisey effects loop definitely get it. if you dont have any effects than just get this one

@Fishpigg Because any kind of gain pedal would considerably increase the noise, so you'd need a higher threshold on the Decimator to remove the noise, which might decrease dynamic range.

Soy muy muy exigente con el timbre de mi guitarra y siempre estoy comprando pedales de Boutique.. Pero la verdad no se nada de "noise supressor" Tu crees que este pedal me vaya a opacar el tono de mi guitarra?

gracias, pero mira, me hubiera gustado escuchar el final del sonido sin que apagues la nota antes. O sea, que dejaras sonar los acordes o notas hasta que se apaguen solas. Ahí es cuando se ve realmente un buen denoiser, porque si hace "chop-off", si te corta las notas de golpe, da lo mismo, me quedo con el denoiser de mi multiefectos, no? si pudieras hacer una cortísima review dejando morir las notas,te agradezco ;)

I don't understand the difference between a noise gate and noise reduction. A gate blocks sound below a certain dB level. So if you are playing, the dB should be above that level, so no sound is cut off, when you stop playing, the noise is below that level and is cut off, as in say, single coil hum. If you are playing and turning the pedal on and off, what is that doing exactly then, isn't the dB level above the pedal setting and therefore would make no difference? What's noise reduction then?

@massif20022000 most of it. We want to do this demo with single coils because thats the way to get more hum. Most of the pedals used are dead quiet like PisdiYAUwot.

I have the PisdiYAUwot pedal and get absolutely no hum. The instructions do suggest that you plug the pedal into a separate power bar or source outlet from the one your amplifier is plugged in as this can create a "ground loop" and cause some hum. When I do this, no hum, silencio! I went to a friends and had no choice as to where I could plug my pedal in and then, there was quite a bit of hum.

@rockeromero totalmente el Decimator. Como vez al prender el pedal no cambia el tono de la guitarra y te respeta al maximo la señal original, algo que no pasa con el Boss
