Ibn Taymiyya(rh) was always at odds with the rulers..He gave fatwa calling for jihad against them since they openly violated the principles of Islam..Imam Malik(rh) was flogged by the ruler of his time..
The Prophet(pbuh) said if you see an evil then stop with your hand or tongue, or atleast curse it in your heart..Whereas Saudi scholars have always glorified their corrupt kings..

@nilo723 Yes Imam Malik was flogged by the ruler yet did he rebel or speak out against him? As for Ibn Taymiyya yes he fought the tatars however their disbelief was open, is this the case with saudi, and know that ibn taymiyya fought with the mamuluks against the tatars, he did not rebel against the mamuluks even when they imprisoned him, rather he showed patience so may Allah reward him with good, as for Muawiya (RA) he was a companion and praised and he was the king of islam

@nilo723 What is this clear and open disbelief, know that it is up to you to bring the evidence and clear disbelief is only condition of jihad against the ruler. This disbelief must be something of which their is no doubt, visible and clear with no room for any other interpretations, the person committing the act must know it is disbelief, it must have authority from the qu'ran, there must be sufficient power to take over the leadership, the fatwa must be given by the scholars,

@evilheem no need to come up with some complex references to some how defend Saudi Arabia, cuz common sense is enough for us, we respect saudi arabia just because makkah & madina is located there, & i even have problems calling it SAUDI ARABIA, i prefer calling if ARABIA rather then Saudi Arabia, so if anyone comes & tell us to respect Saudi royal family or government, so i'm sorry i would rather die !
