I think Mr Zaid Hamid's ideas regarding Islam bends to wards the Sufi School of thought which not many typical Sunni may agree with, but I think at the same time we should not let our selves divide each other in sects, but rather unite, and refraim our selves from using names of sect to catagorize each other. It would be better for us.

I converted to Islam and loving it. Now I have married multiple women who listen to what ever I say because they know Islam lets me leagelly beat them up if they do not listen. My wife was arrogent and mean to me, so I divorced her & I became a Muslim and married 4 muslim women and today I am a happy man. I am totally satisfied and very happy in bed. Here we go again. I got my advice from a muslim priest from Egypt. Type AllahsApostle in youtube search and you will get his video as to how to treat women in Islam. After I saw that video I was convinced that Islam was the the most best religion for MAN. Thanks Allah (SWT) for enlightining me.
