  • Yes Lee if it was on vinyl it would maybe be rare and expensive! I got this from a cheap CD i got from Tescos!

Thanks for the comment tho mate! Ktf!

  • @door2yourheart

don't knock it mate - picked up plenty of boss li'l tracks on cheap compilation CDs from tesco, asda etc!!

  • It's Frank Wilson - wrongly creditted as Smokey Robinson on a previous release. I included it on Soul Satisfaction 3 or 4 with the correct ID straight from the tape details from the vaults :-) Hope that helps. Jo Wallace/ Soul Satisfaction Vols 2-5 (Universal Motown)

  • sounds so much ! EDDIE KENDRICKS~

  • Its falsetto but its Frank, not Eddie.

  • defo Frank Wilson, i have a demo

  • Don't tell me you can't clearly hear BOBBY and CLAUDETTE'S voices in the background .

  • WRONG!!! it's a MIRACLES song with FRANK WILSON singing lead, because SMOKEY NEVER PUT HIS VOCALS TO THE SONG. It's a SHAME THAT HE DIDN'T , 'CAUSE THIS WOULD'VE BEEN A SMASH !!!

  • This song is not sung by SMOKEY ROBINSON!

    It's a Frankie Wilson song.

  • Thanks mate! Seems you are right!I got the tune from a Smokey and the Miracles cd tho. I liked this cos the voice was less "pure" than Smokeys "usual" voice. Also found this info from a knowledgeable site: "Til you were gone - Frank Wilson is an interesting cut in that it was penned for Smokey but it never came off and this, presumably, demo outing is sung almost as if it's Smokey. Perhaps with Smokeys slightly stronger delivery over the pounding beat we would have heard more of this one."

  • Thanks for that info! I have edited the info and thanked you in the more info box.
