henna is good but is drying hair so u need to add olive oil to it and is not for make hair soft if u want it to be more brown make it soft with tea water or u can use neskafe with egges will make ur hair soft and have color

LOL. Indeed, that is a big ass dog. LOL. I was dog-sitting for a friend. That dog is a huge rottweiler named Baybee. She's so sweet and docile, she might as well be a coat. LOL.  I think you're the only one who noticed her in this video.

Definitely not a dumb question. From what I know (which is very little, heehee), Henna is used for conditioning purposes but it deposits color onto your hair because of the properties of the dye in the plant. Or...something like that. Some people do it every month for a deep condition, some people like me just try it for the color. Hope that helps.

No, I was very careful because I heard it was a messy process. I left mine in for 5 hours. Henna is just a stain, it doesn't lift color at all. It will only deposit color. So no, I don't think it'll work for you. Have you researched Herbatint? That may work better for you.

lol ur funny! I used to do that stuff last year but my hair started feelin so hard after awhile. I thought that maybe it was the henna, so I cut all my hair off in the summer. And guess what...this stuff is still hard lol! I think I might buy some more cause I do like the color it gives you. But I still like my natural pitch black hair against my skin color (which is similar to urs) so I dunno what imma do.

The hair on the side (in front of my ear) goes just past my jaw, so maybe like 4 or 5 inches now.  I haven't measured.

Nope. Henna cannot lighten your hair, it only deposits color, it can't lift color at all. Hope that helps. And thanks!

Yeah, on nappy hair it doesn't take as easily as on slick, straight hair. I think because our hair is so much thicker.

Wow, thanks! I think what keeps me going is fotki and looking at people's pages that are ahead of me and dreaming about what my hair is going to become.  To keep your hair moist, try olive oil mixed with some leave in conditioner. Nappy growing!!

Remember to rinse your hair with cool water after you apply Henna. That kinda keeps the color in your hair for longer.

Henna is an awesome conditioner. We use it a lot here in India. It's really, really nice....softens the hair. Maybe you should try mixing some coffee in it. That works well too.
