  • Wtf...didn't see that coming...ha

    Nice work!

  • FANTASTIC!!!! :)

  • So, I'm searching for stain glass stuff and I see this video.. so I sit through it.. thinking.. meh.. that looks cool.. Then, at the end, when you turned it around.. it blew my mind.. I was like HOLY #@$!, that's AWESOME!.. So, of course, I call my kids over so they can see the end.. I totally didn't expect that ending.. Very nice work. Seems unbelievable to watch you "toss" paint around and then see something like that come out of it. I'm still in awe!

  • Impressive

  • Holy cow man that's incredible! What was the point of the fire though? Or is it just fun as hell?

I'd like to make a large clock. The numbers would have to be perfect, and I was wondering if I should paint the back of the glass like this, or if I should use glossy paint on the front. Do you think I can get a really professional look if I paint the back?

  • amazing, one of the best spray painted art.. ever!! :)

  • Did you use Plexiglas??

  • and also what dose the fire do?

  • im trying to get into spray paint art and i know that on other posterboard you scrape but what are you using sponges?

  • what is the best size of glass for this?

  • when i got to 6:17 i was like wtf that looks like crap. then i skipped to the end and i was like oh nevermind. great piece of artwork by the way. :D

  • My jaw dropped, and I drooled on my t-shirt. Well done!

  • at first i was like what are you doing? and then i thought i was like ok mabey he dosent like what it truned out like. then you coverd it all in white and i was like WTF. it was only after watching this like 5 times i found out what you were doing. i feel really slow

  • we need get in touch im starting mine and i dont know alot of the tricks yet :D

  • GENIOUS!!!! ...what does the fire do?

  • @sa1g3 - I believe it was to dry it faster :)

  • ust wondeirng, when you light it on fire basically, what does that do?

  • u got some serious skill and that is the coolest way to dry paint i v ever seen

  • I love this so much. I've painted things blind before but i am not bold enough to try spray paint. Maybe i will sometime though since i like the look so much

    Sick work

  • That is nice as heck.. It was suspenseful.. Didn't know what to expect... Very Very nice... Very talented...

  • @leavon314 well thanks! that's sort of why i like doing this sort of reverse painting, because you're not sure what you'll get until the end!

  • Ben you're the fuckin' tits and I'm stoned... So now I'm posting this video on my Twitter and Facebook

  • @Hova4288 hahaha, well thanks bro

  • very very nice :)

  • wow that is some talent you have...wtg

  • 4 ruined their houses glass trying to do this...

  • 4 people are jelous because they cant do that.

  • this is like fucking inception. i had no freakin clue what was going on until the end and by then i still dont get how the hell you did it.

  • i feel high now

  • Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! Cant really say anymore than that!! And had nooo idea what the end was even going to be!! Just AMAZING!!

  • i did my first piece today with spraypaints and looking around on youtube, i see some real sick talent. this one is super impressive. really cool.

  • Sick.

  • Wow, towards the end I thought that you were going to use magazine to reveal you masterpiece, but only towards the end did I realize the work you did was reversed so the back of it was glass and revealed the 1-of-a-kind workpiece!!! Speechless work, I must say!!!

  • that was awesome :3

  • can i buy your skill

  • boly shit man xD my 1st thought was like, aww hes gonna screw it up, wat the hell is he doing, and my second thought was when u finished it was like... HOLY SHIT xD

  • are you justin bieber

  • @dmjst2 yes.

  • Amazing Work..

  • @Supranatrix thank you!

  • You can get closer to this painting than any other, but do not touch, we wouldn't want someone creating a spiral in the universe when you use your fingers.

  • @furyberserk haha, what?

  • Holy shit, brah!

    That's sick..

    Do you sell them?

  • @cedartowndawg thanks! and yes i do

  • I personally think you have great talent! I also thank you for sharing your talent with you tube and those of us who are truly interested in learning. I have two pieces of large glass that I am thinking about painting on.

  • nice workk XD

  • боже как красиво

  • That was fucking beautiful!!!!! Wow, u r a fucking fantastic artist! Great job!! Don't listen to those trolls up above that were pointing out ur mistakes. They have nothing better to do than to jack off and make ur life miserable.

  • nice one n__n but u think that ur light sources are kinda confused n___n keep the practice

  • Sweet pic

  • oh shit this kicks serious ass!

  • awesome man...but why did you put the fire on it

  • @moonrunner777 to dry it faster

  • final result was awesome!

  • man that was frig amazing effect

  • Great stuff. I've done 3 on plexiglass as well, but I never thought of doing it in reverse... I'll have to try that when I can get my hands on some more xD

  • Yo! It's Bailey, great job man. So impresive, what year of highschool was this? Oh ya, congratz on homecoming prince, I envy that as well

  • Awesome stuff XDben, I would of never thought to try it on the back of plexiglass in reverse like that. Its good to see someone take something as creative as this sort spray painting technique, and take it further.

I will have to try this. Kudos

oh and also, the uploader comments section where you replied to some of the comments on here (defending yourself mostly) where hilarious.

  • That's so cool.. I didn't understand what you were doing till the end of the video.

  • im lovin it

  • I actually think this is quite neat! Good job!

I like art, also, but I mostly do drawings on the computer or sketches.

  • omg

    this is sooooo good:o

ad first i didnt understand what you were doing

but the result is really good:o

im jealous (sorry if it is spelled wrong, im from belgium ^^)

i cant only paint, i would never be able to do something like that:o

  • That's realllllly hard, isn't it? I mean, one slip-up, and it's completely ruined.... right? It seems like a nice thing to do in spare time, but seems to take a LOT of practice... I'm an artist, but, goodness, not NEARLY as good as you!!! =) You're CRAZY good! =D

  • You are completely amazing.

  • How long did this really take?

  • I like this, it came out really nicely.

  • My mouth is still hanging open... :OOOOOOO

Cannot believe you can do that, great job! Amazing job!

  • hello im an artist but i paint using paints not spray paint !! i love spray paintings so much that i want to try !! do you know if i could use spraypaints on canvas ? and if not what can i use ? also why do you have to burn it with fire like that , is it to keep the paint on ? great painting by the way !!

  • whats the fire at the end for?

  • @mkartist4life123

to dry it faster. It's extremely toxic to do so though. And when you're painting for cash and stuff it draws attention.

  • its plexi glass.

  • cool idea

  • Nice Video I Paint With Acryle and Oil i try to Combinade them and the Results was Incredible but the Kontrast is a litle Problem Your Work was Great

  • This is just incredible. Very good talent.

  • awesome!

  • man...your art is really amazing!

  • this is awesome!!!! post more!!! oh and where do you buy plexy glass???

  • Great texture on the planets man. Well done. I can see some advantages and disadvantages to the method. Keep it you and I'll keep coming back.

  • UIGB:FISB:S?VOMcjiz b.b/o;

    'WB:fgijs;l/skhdglnouhgoh'OIBRH"IRj "PIJRn

    SOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!

  • @SprayShadow sorry to burst your bubble, but this is completely real.

that is clever, however you are wrong. the material used is a clear plastic, i believe called plexi-glass. it's the material that comes in poster-sized picture frames. since it isn't real glass, it has a little bit of a flex to it, but it is clear just like glass, and since i wasn't sure what it was called i called it glass.

  • @XDben Hey

sry for my saying it's not all real, i didn't think of plexi glass but it makes perfect sense. What i said was the only other reason i could think of. Even if it was just foam board, it's still a great painting and much better then loads of crap on youtube. For reverse painting, (I tried it) it's incredibe. Sry Ben, you're a great artist.

  • @XDben ya i agree plexi-glass is what i used for a project, its very flexible and bends fairly easily.

i love your channel its so inspiring :D

  • @XDben i use glass on mine :)

  • @SprayShadow its all the same..the point was to do it on the back of a clear surface so the front shows the picture, glass, clear plastic, whatever it works

  • @SprayShadow no.... if its thin, then i does bend.

  • @SprayShadow Youre a douche lol

  • @SprayShadow umm dude, plexi glass bends like that. lol

  • Wow, that is awesome!

  • Is the flamethrower bit at the end to dry the paint?

  • i love this VERY Much so... :)

  • do you sell these? or is it just a hobby?

  • Dude, that was tight. Came-out looking amazing.

  • haha, first off, if you want to insult me, i suggest you learn some english first. and second, i think my 117,000 total video veiws and 400 subscribers may care to disagree with you, but hey, you're the expert huh? its jackasses like you who tend to think they're the toughest- the ones who dont have any videos of themselves to prove themselves. get a life.

  • @mrdude1433 haha, i honestly do not care what other people think. i thought that person's comment was childish and ignorant so i called them out on it. tell me where exactly that involves you? and 2, so sorry i believe in putting together coherent sentences. sue me.

and finally, i'm sorry but i had to laugh at the irony of you correcting me for insulting the guy, and then proceeding to call me and immature prick. hahah, it is laughable how little thought you put into that comment.

  • @mrdude1433 i know your comment is 5 months old, but i gotta say... you're being the immature prick here...

  • this kids got more than just napkins and glue mah dude

  • @Jacobos somebody cant paint fer shit lol.

  • dude i wud pay for that dat was fukin awesome dude u got talent

  • salut j'adore se que tu fait... je voudrais savoir c'est quoi le papier que tu utilise pour faire se style de peinture

  • hey Ben i know you've said that this vid was a backup cuz of YouTube and those damn copyright laws, but what is the new music that plays first? i love it and wanna see if i can find it somewhere but if I dont have a name i cant do that. thanks

  • oh, you know, i honestly have no idea. youtube gave me a list of stock songs to choose from and i just picked one, but i might be able to find it a little later when i have some free time. but since it is youtube stock music, i doubt it could be found on itunes or anything, but you never know. i'll look into it.

  • thats amazing and that was ure first?

  • im actually doing something like this but in a mirror for my gf for vday but does anyone know if the fabric paint will stay on a mirror glass?

  • @lydiae1404

    That's a bad idea.

  • what do you spray at the end? is is white paint?

  • @mos2k

yup, not really needed at all, except if the paint were to get scratched, it would only scratch the white layer rather than the actual painting.

  • Dude awesome work....

  • @JohnMarksChannel

    thanks. :)

  • that is some crazy shit, amazing

  • I totally have the utmost respect for you my new friend!!!!

  • how the fuck?

  • dude, at first i was like WTF! but woooooow!! that is freaking awesome!!!

  • That is neat! So creative. I wish i was like you.

  • Amazing - you had my wondering and then POW = awesome

  • wow yerr really good.. how old are you?

  • thank you, i'm 16

  • He made the stars first with white paint i think.

Couldnt belive the result. Picture looks so nice! :)

  • yup! and thanks! :)

  • oooooooooooooo wtf nice man i was wating for a face or somthing like da... n then plannets come on haahaha nice how did u do da stars ?

  • thanks. i made the stars by only letting out a little air and paint at a time so that it "splatters" like stars on the painting. thanks again

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!but idk the process of spray paint artists putting colors on top of eachother....please explain

  • well first you must put the lighter color and then the darker color.. it helps make it look better. but when your painting on glass you must do every thing in reverse.. EX: like on a posterboard you would normally put stars last, but on glass you must put them on first:] hope this explains it good enuff....

  • actually i do believe it's painted on acrylic sheet and not glass..and i only say this cause at the end when he flips it over to show you the finished picture , it bends..glass doesnt bend and which would explain why when i attempted to do one on glass the paint doesnt adhere well like it would on acrylic ..the planets would be much easier this way..wish i noticed it the first time lol lol...

  • Glass does bend!!! Not as much as acrylic but it does! You only can see the glass "wobble"!!

  • my 15 yrs of dealing with stained glass and panes of glass tell me that glass doesnt bend unless it's hot..try it..go ahead..it's not gonna bend like his did and not break..

  • I looked at it again and your right!

  • every time i'm in the mood to watch spray paintings i always watch this one at some point. i like your style and the music you put with this. make some more and i'll be sure to subscribe.

  • Thanks! :) that really means a lot. And I know, I haven't made a video in a verrry long time, mostly because of computer and camera issues. I'm still hoping to figure it all out and when i do i'll upload regularly. thanks!

  • awesome!!!!!! 5/5

  • wow, that end product is amazing.,, but i dont understand, why do you, like, light it on fire practically?

  • he lights it on fire at the end to get the paint to dry faster so that if something happens and he touches it he doesnt mess it up and then have to redo the entire painting.

  • oh, thanks. I thought he like did it soo like he could get like a certain look or texture to it.?

    Thanks again,

    Supergrl297

  • BRAVO!

  • XDben you should take another video from the other side to see it in action!

  • Totally awesome!!! Most beautiful I've seen yet. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • why are you commented this.?

    yes he his spraypainting.

    but for real, he tried to make his similar to the picture at the end.. duh;;

  • very nice man

  • VERY CLEVER and BEAUTIFUL. Also a new idea to try. Thanx

  • the first time i was in nyc i was 7 * live on longisland* so i saw a man doing the city scape via 'reverse' spraypaint art. i was intriged(sp)

one of the reasons i started bombing :D

  • yo i was in da streets and i saw diz nigga doin dat shyt right and boi he was doin hella on poster but shyt people we makin a crowed and shyt and he was rackin money lyke no other shyt was hot i kind of can do dat shyt but shyt im a bomber fuk dat shyt even though shyt iz hot haha

    keep up

    ey do u bomb

  • hey man thanks.

naw though, no bombin. respect though. haha

    peace!

  • what?

  • At the end right before u dried it, did u just cover up the whole back of it with the white you were using on the edges? otherwise keep up the good work man, ur a god send making a good image for us spray painters

  • yeah, i painted the entire back to make it look a little cleaner on the other side.

and thanks dude. a ton. i had somewhat quit painting for a while but that comment is going to get me going again.

  • that was dope

  • thanks man.

  • awsome!!!!! cool man

  • I Freakin Love It!!!

  • you must have been pleased with that : D sweet painting

I would love your advice on mine... im only 14 as well been painting 3 weeks

  • my god that was amazing. I did want to know the music u used. It may have not been wat u intended but it was still a pretty awesome song.

  • Awesome bro!

When you were drying it by spraying fire, did you use a colored spray can or...?

  • no, haha. thats one of the more important things. you want to use clear, because splatters of paint WILL land on the painting. i've ruined a few paintings that way. hahaha

but remember, this is dangerous, i'm not responsible for anyone trying this. ;)

    hahahah

  • So freaking cool! You are so talented!

  • OMG THAT WAS AMAZINGGGGGG

  • nice job i know joe sandor whos been reverse painting on glass for over 15yrs and u did a great first try.

  • cool!i'm not an artist or anything but i've watched your videos and i really want to start learning how to spraypaint stuff like you.Are there any beginner videos or something for spraypainting on youtube?

  • amazing!

  • haha.. not to be eavil, but ì'm a matematik g, and it did take me around 1.2sec to find out that the last pic at the end of the movie, was not the one you did paint... i'm sorry it just cant be.. :)
